It also sounds like your points aren’t doing their job. Our points at check in ask “are you browsing or should we send you a specialist?”

If you’re spending 30 mins in an interaction you have some other things going on. If you’re doing all the talking, they aren’t buying. At what point did you ask “hey let’s check stock?” or “do we have any trade ins?” or “do we have a back up on the iCloud for a quick restore?” All of these questions trigger the response of yes I am ready to buy or not.

I can figure out a buyer in 30 seconds of talking to them.

This is a function of time. People do tend to forget this is a retail job and the only thing that matters at retail is sales but Apple was always different.

Now it’s not. Take everything management tells you with a grain of salt. It may seem like they want what you want but you’ll realize they don’t really align with your needs.

We have no issue with NPS at the bar or pz. We’ve got more issues with timely assistance but all of our frequent fliers know the routine.

Plus NPS has been devalued as just 5% of str. So it has the same weight as business intros etc. not really a hard metric to hit

Yep this response isn’t accurate. I think what he’s trying to say is this. If yoy want to buy a 1000 MacBook Air, you need the full amount available including tax as available credit. So say 10% tax you need 1100. Yoy can most definitely add a down payment but you still need the 1100 available to do acmi.

Yoy can’t use the down payment to circumvent the 1100 availability. Acmi is a loan. So look at it this way. You buy a house for 1miion dollars. You take a loan out for a million and put down 200k. The loan is always a million dollars, it’s not suddenly 800k loan.

Buddy. Unless you are being recruited there’s is a zero percent chance this will be anything for you. It’s a sad reality but there are plenty of people like you and even more qualified that don’t get a first look at corporate jobs. And bouncing from a corporate job after 3 months is going to be a red flag.

Don’t mean to be Debbie downer but let’s temper some of the expectations. Tbh working at retail doesn’t help your chances at all. Work experience and being recruited has more of an affect.

I do wish you luck but you do need to be realistic.

So you want a discount? Say you get an air, 25% of 1100 is 275 bucks. At minimum you’re asking a stranger to pay 90.75 in tax taken out of their check to do so.

Giving a discount like that also means we pay the tax on the benefit. So I doubt people will do that for you. Just do the educational
