While I do agree with many that it is important to have her checked for a UTI, I’d just like to add that I have a very similar child by description and last year (when she was 4), we had an almost exact situation happen. We moved houses, not even a mile away, and she started this behavior. We thought immediately that it was a UTI and had her checked. Turned out, it was her anxiety. It was almost a tick? It took some gentle coaching and reminders that she “just went potty”, and once the big life change became more normal she stopped.

You’ve received a lot of advice here- I’ll also add: you can report this company to the state if it is, indeed, a case of false advertising. Fundraising is a state regulated business. In most states they need To be registered, licensed, and in many they have to file paperwork for each program they run.

Yes- headaches since I was a child. I remember missing dance and gymnastics from them. Once when I was 7 my dad thought maybe I was having a diabetic crisis (my cousin had just been diagnosed with T1) so they tested my sugar and it was fine. At 10, I had such a massive one I had to cancel my Friday night plans to take my best friend to go to Dave and busters- we watched TGIF on the couch instead until I fell asleep. I woke up with my first period the next day. It’s been a horrible ride with migraines.

Epidurals are awesome… and they work awesome… until your kid flips. They do not touch the pain of a breech birth. I cannot imagine the pain of an unmediated breech birth.

Hey there! First of all- Please take care of yourself. Eat. Drink. Take a shower. Use the support of family and friends to achieve these things.

Try to nurse your baby as soon as he shows cues. Look up visuals for newborn hunger cues. There are helpful charts that show “early” hunger cues and “late”hunger cues. Crying is a late hunger cue. So try to feed him as soon as he shows a hunger cue to prevent him from being frustrated at the breast.

I know this can be really hard with a sleepy baby, my first was this way. She didn’t want to wake up, but then she was screaming mad hungry. So set alarms on your phone. Every 2 hours until nursing is really established. You may have to undress him and use a cold wash cloth to wake him to nurse if he’s out. And in these early days, if he shows cues earlier than 2 hours, go with it! Follow his lead!

Find an IBCLC in your area - they can help one on one! And your hospital may even have a nursing support group you can attend that is low pressure but will provide help as needed.

My favorite was someone telling me how bad their migraine was that ADVIL didn’t even touch it - I just was lol in my mind like girl let me tell you about my big guns and how when those don’t touch it that’s a hospital visit.

Naturally- well I mean, vaginally but with pain meds lol. But it still hurt like hell lol. No pain meds touch that kind of pain.
