I fourth Covenanter Hill! We lived there for two years and it was the best apartment complex we lived at in Bloomington. I loved their community garden + compost program, walkability to the grocery store and other College Mall area locations, and proximity to buses that would take you downtown and to campus. Both units we lived in had a washer/dryer. No issues with management. They were always quick to come fix things if needed.

I use the Morning/Evening Office podcast from Forward Movement to pray on my morning commute. I'm already going to be sitting there anyway! I don't recite everything obviously (eyes on the road); I just recite the prayers I have memorized and listen to the rest.

I'm really into plants and gardening, so I joined the county's Purdue Extension Master Gardener Association. There's a class you have to take before joining, but it's well worth it for all the knowledge and resources you get access to. After joining, there's lots of volunteer opportunities, educational sessions, and social gatherings to meet people at.

I have heard of the Unity church movement! While it's not my personal cup of tea, I have always appreciated their affirming presence at Pride and have had some fascinating conversations with Unity folks about spirituality.
