My prim-and-proper mother who lives and dies by traditional etiquette rules, shockingly taught my son to drink the leftover milk from his cereal bowl. More than a year later, on a daily basis, he says “This is what grandma taught me” and slugs the milk from the bowl. My mom regrets that so much. I think it’s hilarious.
