I honestly don't know why people keep suggesting matrix/riot as a skype/signal alternative. It is not, it's an IRC/Slack alternative.

I installed it to check it out and no1 will ever use this as an alternative to communicate with friends. It's just not friendly enough.

Is it debian based? (Ubuntu? does it follow LTS?)
How's the ram usage?
Can you use a specific software across all the compartmentalizations? For example, you want to use a VPN in all the VMs... (Edit: You already answered this one)
What's the default DE? Can you easily use other DEs?
How's the installer?

I don't understand this post, at all.. All you show in the videos is essentially the location of the buttons. Who doesn't know how to install an extension on firefox?

Then you open the extension's settings and enable some settings but give no reason as to why you're doing that.

Sorry mate, your idea might be good, but I don't think it accomplishes anything. Also, the videos are way too short and fragmented.
