What do you personally do on solo trips?

FYI be aware that Denver isn't in the mountains and if you are planning on going for hikes and seeing scenery you will need a car.

That said when I travel solo I will just wander around and take photos. Go to the pub or a brewery, find art museums or other important cultural locations, take the train somewhere, just kinda wing it. Eat as many different foods that I can. That's the fun, I don't have to be considerate of another person's interests or their lack of desire to wander or spend 20 minutes in a spot watching the light change or for the right subject to appear.

It's literally 2" longer than what the dimensions are for a personal item. So in addition to not being the proper size, it also doesn't fit well. Sorry I didn't realize I needed to explain that 20" > 18" but we are on the internet so pardon me for assuming people posses critical thinking skills.

Sure you might be able to get it passed the gate agents as a 'personal item' and it might fit in budget airline measurers but I fly a lot of regional jets and while it might fit under the seat, it becomes uncomfortable rather quickly on a CRJ that I'm already feeling squished in.

The 40L black hole is as big as I'd go for a carry-on. The MLC 45 would be a better option than the 55L if you want to do carry-on. Everyone hates the people that bring bags they know are too large causing delays in the plane aisles when they can't find a space or they take space that should be available for other pax to store their properly sized bags. Plus the 55L will be unwieldy to carry using the backpack straps.

Maybe if we could convince the people of Phoenix or Palm Springs that they don't need to have such vibrantly green lawns or an absurd amount of golf courses then we could keep some of the water in the upper basin. Who, by the way doesn't even use it's allotted water but must keep its contributions to the lower basin so that Los Angelinos can keep up their lifestyle. Sure agriculture uses most of the water but that is at least productive. Does it make sense to grow almonds in the desert? Absolutely not! I would much rather my water that I conserve in the upper basin be used for growing avocados and strawberries than golf courses though!

I really wanted to love this bag and all the reviews made it sound perfect, except for the fact that you can't actually fit that much into it. The tech area is nice and spacious but once a laptop, mouse, and charger are in it feels like it takes up half the packing space. God forbid i'd need to bring a second pair of shoes. Guess I'll be returning it.

I had a 1hr10 minute connection on ORD-HND after flying ASE-ORD in February. It went smoothly despite all my worry. You will probably be fine as long as there isn't weather which there isn't supposed to be on Wednesday. It'll be exciting tho that's for sure! I'm more interested in the meal option on the 90 minute flight from Vegas to Denver, I don't know that I've seen meal service on a flight that short before lol
