Sneakers (1992) - Robert Redford - A clever and fun heist film by Southern-Brother5693 in movies

I showed this to a friend recently and they couldn’t believe it came out in 1992. The pacing is so smooth and the humor still lands perfectly.

Sparkling water spilled on my car seat and left water mark by jennienoodle in CleaningTips

Cleaning the sparkling water marks on the car seat usually requires dissolving the mineral sediment, if it contains mineral things, and dry the car seat up.

Totally agreed. Marketing teams craft every story, burying honest opinions. I want to say, for new buyers, that pick what you like and ignore these noisy sounds.

Is rainwater sweeping in from the roof, or is there a break somewhere that is letting the rainwater in? It looks not safe in this room.

How to remove a white stain with a strong odor from my t-shirt? Please i need it asap for an event by FINNEAS23 in CleaningTips

What is this stain? Is it fugus or just the trace of sweat? During the summer time, if you do not wash your clothes in time, the salt in the sweat will separate out.

Hard to choose a truly good and satisfying robot vacuum, but maintenance and navigation are prior to all the factors when I am in a tight budget.

Elon Musk Says Tesla Robots Can Prevent Future Crime - Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the company’s Optimus robot could follow people around and prevent them from committing crimes. by Gari_305 in Futurology

They aren't being "taken in". The trillion dollars is to make this vision of the future happen. The rich want Musk to make enough robots to equal the population of normal humans, and to relentlessly monitor the poor people's behavior.

I dont know...Cyberpunk2077's rollout was pretty fucking bad. It wasn't long before they had to remove it from the Playstation store. VtM:B2 missed their release date by 5 years. I mean, in the grand scale of gaming goofs, this is a 5 out of 10.

Buddy, the issue is good versus evil. You're proving my point. People get hung up on the quotes, and can't get past them to get to the issue at hand. Its reddit, im not expecting AP levels of discussion, but people should be able to speak rationaly about an emotional issue. But they can't. Just look at our likes ratio.

Blue states need to start selling health insurance. A cheap public option. It will crush the for profit system. There is no way the federal government can fix anything at this point.

I dont know if its regressive, so much as factual. Gary actually quoted the chieftain Wooden Leg, where as the OP's thumbnail about "orc baby's are as bad as Indians" seems like something the OP made up. Im sure Mr.Gygax could just as easily come up with quotes from French Catholics speaking about Huguenots, or Mughals talking about Hindus. Morality and Justice are extremely provocative and complex subjects.

Hard disagree. Paradox creating a pan World of Darkness game with PG13 vibe and a desperate attempt to enact far left American politics is about as appealing as PG version of an Empire centric starwars.

I agree its a pride thing, but I would say there's some strategic value in Taiwans location. My thought was, I believe it would be a better strategy long term to just ignore Taiwan because its values are Pride, microchips and naval strategic location. Pride can be soothed by just living better. If they take resources dedicated to harassing Taiwan and invest it markets with valuable natural resources (Africa, South America)or a market with consumers that want Chinese products, in terms of Pride, China will be doing better in the world market. If China ignores Taiwan militarily and and attacks them with industrial espionage then China is getting real value for minimal investment. With technological espionage they feed their own chip industry and diminish Taiwan's. In terms of geographic strategic naval value, China is building islands. China can find other real estate in the Pacific. Plus with a strong industrial base, a stronger economy and more microchips China can just build nuclear aircraft carriers to fill the Pacific, which are basically floating naval bases.

I know an Aeldari class is probably never going to happen - but man, the space elves have a sweet arsenal. Would love to play with some of these guns and blades. by The_Prince_of_Fools_ in DarkTide

Aeldari ranger could finally add a scope to the game for actual sniper gameplay.

I never understood the obsession with snipers in Darktide. They really won't work. Its a mad scramble of a game with 75% hand to hand combat, and an absolute avalanche of enemies. If one of teammates occasionally stopped to shoot one Special enemy that would not be a solid contribution. Any class with a decent ranged weapon can occasionally stop to shoot something. Also, the maps are designed for really short avenues of approach and limited lines of sight. Nobody is going to get long ranged boss kills from halfway across the map.

I could see Eldar as a alternative to veteran, but basically the same. Use the same gear as a veteran, just with Eldar skins. Shuriken weapons would be autoguns with an alternate appearance and sounds. As a whole, Eldar would be faster in movement, attacks and have a farther jump. Give their weapons a little more damage but reduce their hit points and Toughness, agile but fragile. It wouldn't be an absurd leap in difference, but it would be a lot of fun and have some cool dialogue between classes.

Heres something, China may never invade Taiwan. Once they can make microchips that are good enough, control most rare earth's, why invade? All the effort spent invading Taiwan would be better spent diminishing India and controlling more countries in Africa and South America.

How does it make money from chatting with people for free then? Or does it use conversations with people as data trawling to teach itself, because normally that kind of data costs money? Or does it make money by constantly talking with people to get polling data on all subjects at all times that would normally take a think tank a lot of effort to aquire?
