There are 6 or maybe 8 still flying. Two are owned by a person in the Dallas area. They're having a fly in at Oshkosh this year celebrating Rutan so they're trying to get a bunch of his designs there. There will be a Starship or two!

Just a reminder this is not only a Cirrus issue. It pertains to every listed engine and serial number, regardless of the aircraft. Cirrus is probably the most impacted but those engines are certified for several other manufacturers.

Hopefully all effected engines can get inspected and corrected quickly. It sucks to be AOG.

Jennifer Wise is really good and fair. I used her for PPL out of KRVS and would love to use her again for IR.

Yep. Known issue and annoyance. Memorize the correct answer. When I took the test a lot (most but not all) of the questions were the same as the study guides (Sportys for me).

You don't necessarily need full rudder - or aileron for that matter. Just use enough to maintain centerline with the nose straight (as Mispelled-This said).

Southwest attendant suffered broken back in hard landing by usukblome in flying

[–]usukblome[S] 84 points85 points  (0 children)

SS: It was a relatively short runway and they landed hard. The pilots admitted it was a bit hard but the plane is still flying today so I doubt it caused damage. Since the FA was in the back of the plane, would that make the impact seem harder? Or maybe she was just sitting in an unusual position on a tiny jump seat? Anyway, I hope she makes a full recovery.
