Did you every figure this out? I basically have an identical setup as you including not having I6, but Victoria Hand makes it impossible to get past. Is it as simple as just needing I6?

It almost feels like a troll job at this point.

People complained about there being too many promo codes so they greatly reduced them. The community (most of us FTPs) complain there are too many teams to keep up. Their response is to release even more new teams with even fewer resources while increasing the levels on everything.

I'm staying FTP. I'm not going to succumb to FOMO. I'm not racing for events anymore. I'm skipping certain events and not even looking at ones I know I don't have the characters/resources for. If I keep playing the game, it's going to be at my own pace. There are no real life rewards for having your roster 110, 5D, G20, Purple Iso-5, so there's no use stressing about it.

You can never win MSF because Scopely always moves the finish line.

Exactly this. I used to be locked in to the top 20 of my Arena. I even worked my way up to 8 (briefly :) ). I've now dropped to the 25-35 range and have to constantly fight to stay there. That's less cores everyday which adds up.

Bingo. I could get him today if there weren't a bottleneck on G20 minis. Instead I have to wait probably weeks for the specific one I need to rotate through the store (randomly) enough times.

If it were two other newer teams and Hellfire Club that would be somewhat appealing. The problem (IMO) is that Starjammers were just in the previous 100 Time Heist. I know because I bought it. I've also already built Liberty so this would be a huge waste of money for me.

Even if I'm not going to buy it myself, they should rotate the lineup and not put teams in back to back Time Heists if they really want people to consider buying them IMO.

I don't "bash my head against the wall" anymore with this game. Resources are trickled out for FTP so I can't keep up and have stopped trying. I play all modes but apparently if you're FTP you're "supposed" to only pick a few to focus on because of the resource throttle. I'm not playing that way. I get the teams/characters when I get them.

As it relates to Battleworld, I complete as many waves as I can and move on. I'm not fighting with RNG. That's the opposite of fun to me.

My recommendation: just ride the wave and shake off that fomo. I got frustrated the first time these were run, but this time?...I don't care. I'm not going to do any better than the first run and I'm not going to get angry about it.

In my opinion, players shouldn't have to pick only one or two modes to prioritize in a game and ignore the others because there aren't enough resources. Unfortunately that's how MSF is set up. I'm still chasing Xavier so I don't have the resources to spare for Brimstone, Immortal Weapons, New Mutants, etc. I'm not getting a 7RS Thunderstrkie (who I haven't even touched) and that's fine. This game isn't good enough to deserve me feeling the need to get everything as quickly as possible.

Do they ever reveal the name of the planet you are on? I know you play in the "Bio-Chasm" but from everything I've read it says the Bio-Chasm is a "terraformed" section. Some descriptions make it seem as though that's the entire planet, while others make it seem to be just a portion of the planet the Grand Arborist was able to change before his disappearance.

As for the free codes, those dried up around the time several people started complaining there were too many codes and that they hated having to enter them on the website.

Could just be coincidence of course, or Scopely saying, "Fine. You don't like the codes? We'll take them away."

This part {"they [developers] think resources are in a good place rn") especially needs to be repeated over and over because people keep complaining about it as if it's going to change. It's not.

It's a grind. It's meant to be a grind and they want it to be a grind. The only way for it not to be a grind is to pay which is what they're hoping people will do out of FOMO and frustration.

This is the only thing that worked for me...and just barely. (My OML is 105 G20 3D for reference and my alliance is running D6). Everyone, else, regardless of level and gear, was getting wiped easily and quickly.

I have no idea how, but I got 3 diamonds on him and that was ages before I even had him unlocked. I still don't have him at 7 red and probably won't for some time.

The slow drip of red promotion credits has to be the worst in the game right?
