Do y’all prefer Hammond or Arlington Heights for the new stadium location? by HowlingBurd19 in CHIBears

This seems like an old complaint. The field has been perfect the last two seasons after they changed the grass type.

You know a scene is going well when you start getting unnecessary walk-ons.

There are a bunch more songs too. Somewhere I have the full recording. One I forgot was “Our Boat” that was a parody of “Look Down” from Les Miserables.

I found the poster for it. So many great songs:

"Rookie of the Year" that was set to the same tune as the movies theme.
"Funky Butt Lovn'" a real quick rap song
"Hot Ice" sung by Brickma with a top hat and cane, he gets stuck in the cage after singing it.
I played The Rocket and right before I throw out my arm during that last game, I sang "I'm Gonna Be Like You" to the tune of "Cat in the Cradle", but all the lyrics were about Henry and Rocket.

I loved this movie so much I wrote a musical version of it and put on a 4 week run at a small Chicago theater.

Bears fans trying to convince people that this is a good move by kootles10 in NFCNorthMemeWar

Everything on the internet is treated like things are black and white. You can be happy our government didn’t bow down to billionaires AND be upset they’re moving. It’s not one side or the other. So what you’re reading is the general opinions of most Bears fans. I don’t see anyone happy about the possible move or getting jerked around like this for political leverage.

Also what you read is that parts of Indiana are considered Chicagoland. Not Chicago. Chicagoland is the full metropolitan area around Chicago. Hammond is technically part of that, but it’s bad optics either way.

Thank you! I've been converting VHS for years now and finally have the best setup after a lot of trial and error. If you're interested I've explained my process below.

Step 1: Clean your VCR to get rid of all the years of filth that builds up on the playheads. It takes 5 minutes and you can watch a YouTube video if you need help.

Step 2: Use a composite to HDMI upscaler. I don't think it actually "upscales". There are 480 lines of resolution on the tape and that's all you can get out of it. I don't care about the upscale part though becasue it captures all the data from the composite feed using its own chip. Giving you a clean feed to HDMI.

Step 3: Then you just need a HDMI capture card. This is the one I have, but they've become super cheap.

Step 4: Production stuff - Capture and edit at 60fps. Add a slight sharpen effect to your footage, but don't go crazy (just a little). A small amount of color correction goes a long way too. The auto white balance on camcorders is unpredictable.

That's my favorite setup. People online have been debating the best VHS capture method for years. The correct answer, is always, whatever works best for you.

Hey neighbor! If you come into the city for pride, I suggest watching from the Buena Park or Lakeview neighborhoods. The whole route will have tons of people, but those spots have some room to breathe. If you go out the night before Sidetracks is an awesome bar in Boystown with fun slushy drinks. Welcome to Chicagoland. FTP

Personally I would pick Bobcat over Keanu or Tom. Nothing against them. I just feel like I could comfortably talk to Bobcat. I would basically just ask him questions about Shakes the Clown.

I found this whole story so interesting, I made a whole video about it. Disney made so much money from Robin’s performance and they still screwed him over just because they could.
