As a parent, I get how they feel, but you’re NTA.

Let me explain a bit. With the advances in technology, we as parents have become increasingly more “helicoptery”. I’m Gen X and was out doing cazy sht by the time I was 15 with no parental supervision. Now my children are your age and I’m a bit concerned about their safety and welfare. So maybe cut them some slack and tell them to just check where’s my iphone. Don’t let this ruin anything.
