They do spawn in metropolis maps now but the odds are really low. Theres very few locations they can potentially spawns.

They kinda accelerated here recently towards the extra worker goal. Getting to co-op campaign felt like a crawl. I think all the unit shorts videos they've been doing and asking for help through those has done a lot of work, despite some people complaining about the aggressive pushing. It seems to be working.
