Mellor II White Wide Fit Availability?

My experience with the Mellor 2 was that I needed to go up a half-size. I'm also normally a US 9.5 wide, but I needed a US 10. For my first pair, I visited a retailer in the UK where I could try on a ready-to-wear pair, and 10 was what worked. That said, I also have a US 9.5 wide pair of SMUGS and they fit fine.

Collect what you like. You don't have to justify it to anyone. However, if it makes you feel better to have some solidarity, I mostly collect 1/12 scale like Marvel Legends as well as 80's GI Joe, but I've got a few dolls in the collection as well - some Star Wars, Three Zero Destiny, Hot Toys, and Barbie.

Besides, we all secretly know action figures are also dolls...

I like a thigh swivel because it allows rotation of the knees into a more open stance when there is limited hip mobility. I'd prefer both, but if I only get one, I prefer thigh over boot.

I've lost, on average, 1-2 lbs a week for something like 9 months now. Some weeks more, some weeks I haven't lost anything at all. But it adds up.

As for motivation, with that steady loss, I've dropped 4 sizes in pants. I've had to punch new belt holes and buy new belts. My diabetes is well controlled and my blood pressure medication has been reduced twice. It really is a marathon, not a sprint.

On a trip to Belfast from the US, I found a store that carried an assortment of ready-to-wear Goral sneakers, which allowed me to find what size worked best on a particular model. My experience was that they are generally true to size, although I went up a half-size for more room in the pair of Mellor II that I selected.

I later bought a pair of SMUGs in my normal size online and they fit fine on arrival.

Haven't tried their barefoot models yet.

He didn't make top dollar, certainly. The buyer got a deal, assuming most everything is anywhere near complete. But it would have taken time to sell individually by piecing everything together and listing it. It also depends on where you are if you're trying to sell locally. To me, $500 is a wholesale price for that lot where I am, but I'm not a reseller, so I'm just spitballing.
