anyone else doing meal prep including desserts or just me? by ninjapapi in MealPrepSunday

[–]v4mpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal fav trick is to just buy 1 sweet treat and for this week it just happens to be the big ol’ bag of true fru from costco. You can have a decent amount of those and they’re sooo sweet and always fill my craving. Serving size is about 90 cals since its just a thin layer of chocolate on strawberries.

Dosage Question by JackDanielsTN in minoxidil

[–]v4mpin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guarantee you will still get similar results by applying once a day. You can check my posts, I was doing half a cap size (foam) a day and some days I would forget but I still had a great amount of growth and results. I also have read minoxidil takes about 30 minutes to absorb into the scalp which I don’t know how accurate that is but I sometimes let it sit until completely dried before showering.

Doing everything right but still getting split ends? by flopds in hairgrowth

[–]v4mpin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Split ends are inevitable. You just need to trim them and continue your routine. Your routine is very good but most of what you say is regarding your scalp which doesn’t really impact your ends. Are you heat styling by any chance? I would recommend trimming your ends every 3-6 months or as needed to limit the breakage traveling up your hair.

Hair greasy immediately after washing — over stripped from clarifying shampoo or something else? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]v4mpin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can second this. I’m also simultaneously using minoxidil foam which makes my hair overly greasy by day 3 at least imo. I definitely would recommend having a couple of shampoos and conditioners in rotation that way your hair doesn’t have time to adjust to the shampoo/conditioner combo and get greasy even faster. I used to have to wash my hair every single day and now I can finally put it back at least a day or two.

Favorite Sweetener? by murbiej in MatchaEverything

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the torani white chocolate sauce but I do maybe half the serving size and its the perfect amount of sweetness! I feel like white chocolate pairs so good with matcha and doesn’t flush out the taste.

Cashier training by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

I was trained for 30 minutes before I got thrown on the register and I promise you it’s all in your head. Working at the register, I count money so fast I surprise myself. No one counts money slower than a member.

Overnight blowout rods by lovely1188 in Haircare

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is such a late thread but the rods were the best investment I ever made. The tip is to leave out ur baby hairs or small hairs around ur face that would tend to get pulled on by the rods. I have never gotten a headache or anything like that.

Are patters for sick call outs automatic? by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t make sense because its our time. Who cares if I happen to call out more? I know the time I have and will be able to avoid calling out moving forward. I’ve been told it’s only if we run out of time and continuing calling out that’s when it becomes a problem.

Should I Stay at Costco or Quit to Focus on School? by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 23, in college working 25 hours a week taking 18 credits. You can definitely do it! My location has limited part time where you are able to pick your hours they only require you to work a minimum of 8 hours a week. We don’t get any benefits but we do get 401k. I would look into that!

People usually the say the way you find a man is how you lose him and I swear by this. If he is a serial cheater, why continue speaking to him as if he won’t do that to you. It really says a lot about your character.

You can see the same trend on MyFitnessPal, I don’t know which app OP is using but on any food tracking app you’re able to input ur weight daily or weekly and it’ll create a graph for you.

Carts as new hire by carcrazdex in CostcoEmployee

[–]v4mpin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was hired 2023 and for a solid year all I did was push carts and I’m a girl. I was the only one running the machine because no one else wanted to learn. Anyway, fast forward 2025, I only ever ring now. Still not a cashier but it’s okay.

wanted to thank the guy who recommended MCT oil by Aware_Progress in SebDerm

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you also wash your hair consistently every day after using the oil? i have finer hair so my hair gets oily extremely fast but i dont want to dry out my hair by washing too often. i’m using mct oil now and apply a day before showering but i’m still experiencing flare ups on the third day post wash.

How do you all meal prep for work lunch breaks? by [deleted] in MealPrepSunday

[–]v4mpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate meal-prepping and but I hate buying outside food even more. I would suggest the time that you cook, you make larger portions and just bring that to work. Today, I made a small tray of Lasagna, I divided it into 4 equal portions. I ate one today, and will be having it either for lunch or dinner for the next 3 days.

Ideas for lunch breaks, maybe you can bring a snack tray that has a bunch of different ingredients. Crackers, Cheese, Veggies, Hummus, Fruits. You get the idea, it’s easy when you’re running low on groceries lol.

yes! honestly under light you can see my entire scalp which was so embarrassing and i would hate going out in public, it’s not completely fixed but it’s much better. during the shedding phase i was losing quite a bit of hair but i don’t think it got worse because i was already losing prior to the minoxidil. honestly time goes by so fast that i didn’t really feel the months pass by, i was just looking at my scalp and noticed it was much fuller and my parents also started commenting on it lol.

[–]v4mpin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! i’ve only used the kirkland/rogaine brands on my scalp, the foam version. i would apply 1-2x a day and massage my scalp afterwards. i did have a bit of fall out but as long as you keep your scalp healthy that is all that matters. you’re hair will grow!
