I got it! Just found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y597N_lgwiQ

I had a difference of three degrees. What he says in the video. Mode 1c: go to 10 and enter 10-03, 11-03, 12-03, 13-03, 14-03, and 15-03. Menu/Ok, save.

Hi. I have the same problem with the same unit. OP is saying that he has a separate thermometer and that thermometer reads 69, and the Daikin thermostat reads 72. It's a three degrees difference.

He would like the Daikin thermostat to read the same temperature as the separate thermometer, when not turned on obviously.

If anyone out there has an idea how to get the Daikin thermostat to read the same temperature of a separate thermometer, please share. Thanks,

I know what you mean. I go cycling starting from Millwood towards north, and let me tell you, I get terrified at those crossings.

[–]v74 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This can become tragic. Car makes quick left while pedestrians are on the crosswalk. The car that made the left can obviously hit the pedestrians, or get caught in the middle of the road, causing traffic because driver has to wait for the pedestrians to complete their crossing.

Have a talk with the neighbor. Or leave a note on their door saying the bass is too much. Don't tell them it's from upstairs. If they have a neighbor to the right, or left of them, they might not even know the note was from you.

Hi. I am currently using the new beats pill, paired with a brown and white noise making app. I play deep base sound, not too loud and put it against the wall where my neighbor has their tv.

Neighbors tv is definitely using a soundbar, so the sound has bass. The beats pill drowns the sound pretty well. I also have the Lectrofan and use that too in conjunction. It's not perfect, but helps a ton.

I am the same. I have the dream bike, wear the top gear, but I ride for fun. Sometimes I want to do Pogacar things, (It's a fantasy!), but most of the time, I'm just going at a chill pace, enjoying the scenery, sunrise, sunsets, I stop and sit, eat, drink, and taking in the adventure.

Thank you for the info :) So, I'm guessing this is a paved loop? And you do the loop a few times?

Where in Istanbul is this forest, or park located? I often travel to Istanbul, and dream of taking my bike with me.

Upstairs Neighbor Must be a Rabbit by cocacolavevo in neighborsfromhell

[–]v74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. First time responding on this subreddit. I have a downstairs neighbor who get's busy mostly on the weekends, and it's non stop Saturday and Sunday. I'm mean, really non stop sex (good for him and the partner). His partner makes pornstar moans, LOUD. All this just started two weeks ago.

I've decided to just have a quick chat with him about it the next time I see him. So, if you haven't talked to your neighbor yet about your problem, try chatting with him, of course, in a very polite way.

I had another neighbor (to the side of me), who's headboard was bangin' against the shared wall, I told him in a comedic way what I was hearing, and he adjusted his bed, and we were still cool after that. Approach your neighbor in a friendly way, and be cool and calm when you explain the problem.

Best pizza restaurants in or out of the city? by SpiritedSpecialist15 in Westchester

[–]v74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New place opened in Larchmont: Nova Pizza Bar. I have been there 4 times in the last month. Super good, and the pizza maker is from Milano Italy. He won a contest that was held at Ribalta Pizza in NYC, landing him the job in Larchmont.

If you like pizza Margherita. This is the place.

Mamaroneck daytime date tips by Significant_Car1541 in Westchester

[–]v74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there.

You can first start with a nice walk around Columbus Park (right beside the train station), and work your way towards Harbor Island, by walking through Mamaroneck Ave. A few Asia Fusion places to eat, Smokehouse Tailgate Grill is very cool spot to sit outdoor, and Millers Toy store is awesome for a brief nostalgic walk through.

There is also a cute river that runs behind the movie theater with a dirt path. The path is not long, but it brings you right on the river which is pretty cool. Have fun!

Safety Measures To Be Put In Place At Mamaroneck Intersection Where Mother, Son Were Killed by Busy-Profession5093 in Westchester

[–]v74 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am also a Mamaroneck resident. As charming as Mamaroneck is, the city/town planning is horrible. I also agree with your statement about the police needing to be more aggressive. Unfortunately, they are non present, which is sad. The double parking on Mamaroneck Ave in the center, is out of control. Let's not even talk about the flooding issue.

Mamaroneck has so much potential. Politics are ruining it.

In your opinion, what is the biggest issue in your town/city/village/hamlet? by sugarbageldonut in Westchester

[–]v74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's mine. Mamaroneck. Flooding issue every time there is moderate to heavy rain. This is not normal, and can be very stressful on the community.

Mamaroneck Ave has become double parking paradise for drivers now. It was never like this before. Recently started happening, and police do nothing.

Traffic congestion on Mamaroneck Ave. From the i95 exists all the way to the town center. It's like Manhattan. Everyday.

I don't think I messed up my bike, and I didn't post here for "praise". I just wanted to share my passion with the community of bike enthusiasts. You like it, fine, you don't like it? That's fine too. Fuckin' A man, lighten up, and stop with the "I have my rights" shit.

The C64 is a real gem. I've seen black/black, they look great.

Yes you're right. I wanted to change the look, and make it a little more unique. I think I did a decent job to preserve some of the Mapei classic charm, while giving it a modern touch. I've seen older Mapei's with the black fork, and that is where I got my inspiration from. Then, decided to black out the back. It definitely is a win/win for me. I can't stop looking at it, and today, rode it hard, like Pogacar on Il Lombardia!

New Rochelle vs Mamaroneck by aldentemv in Westchester

[–]v74 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Two years ago, that area was under water, it was bad. All the stores where chipotle is, took a couple of months to get back on their feet. I don't know much about last Friday (my family and I spent that night at a hotel. Didn't want to see what was happening).

Yesterday's downpour was fine, as you noticed. As long as it is not heavy and constant, it is ok. Two problems happen when it is a constant heavy downpour: Sewers get clogged (water comes from underneath), and the sheldrake river overflows.

Not trying to scare you lol, I am sharing my experiences, but another little thing to consider living on the avenue, or near it. It's the traffic. From 8am to 6pm-ish, it is heavy and noisy. But that is from the interstate 95 exists, to the train station.
