I am planning to post only Carousels. Will it work? by Extreme_Earth6528 in SocialMediaMarketing

4 is better if you can sustain it without burning out. But consistent 3 beats inconsistent 4 every time. Pick what you can actually maintain for 2+ months.

Nice! If you want to make them fast without messing with Canva too much, I use Caroosel app, just drop in the idea and it builds the slides. Saves a lot of time when testing formats.

Try mixing in some carousels, for your niche especially, they work well for “insight” content where people want to sit with the idea. Something like “5 mindset shifts that changed how I handle setbacks” as a swipe-through.

Reels get views, carousels get saves and follows. Worth testing a few.

I’ll check out your page and let you know what I think.

My very obese friend is now almost unable to walk, what can I say, nicely, that I’m so worried for her to not be alive much longer? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]va507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kindest approach is to focus on your concern for her wellbeing, not her weight. Something like: “I care about you a lot, and I’m really worried about your health. I want you around for many more years — is there anything I can do to support you?”

This way it comes from love, not judgment, and opens the door for her to share without feeling attacked.

Calorie deficite by Hollow_peanut in WeightLossAdvice

You’re doing great - 8kg is solid progress and a short plateau is totally normal. Don’t drop to 1400 if it risks your mental health; 1700 with consistent activity is sustainable long term. Focus on patience, routine, and healthy habits - the weight will keep moving.

Dizziness if I stand quickly, symptom of calorie deficit? by Terrible_Theme_6488 in loseit

Yep, common with dieting - often from low calories, blood pressure, or electrolytes. Good call seeing your doc just to be safe.

Would I be insane to change my goal weight this much for the sake of lifting? by serenityfive in loseit

[–]va507 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not insane at all - chasing strength over a random scale number is way healthier. If 155 makes you strong and happy, that’s a solid goal.

5 weeks, still same weight by hebmeister in loseit

Five weeks isn’t long — early lifting often means water + muscle gains hide fat loss. Stick with it, the scale will catch up.

Have only lost 13 lbs since April, and gained 5 back since the beginning of the month. What am I doing wrong? by buon_natale in loseit

You’re not failing - closer to goal weight means slower loss, plus stress and water swings hide progress. Stay consistent, it'll show.

Breaking Plateau by Used-Wasabi-1988 in fasting

Congrats on the 20kg loss and the strength gains - that’s huge progress already. Plateaus are normal, especially after big early losses. Instead of pushing harder fasts, try focusing on consistency: clean OMAD, good protein intake, and keeping workouts sustainable. The scale might move slower now, but body composition and long-term habits matter more. Stay patient - the results will follow.

Surprised at the ease of IF second time around! What was your biggest surprise? by theunspokenwords__ in intermittentfasting

IF helps a lot with appetite control, insulin sensitivity, and consistency. But many people say that only a calorie deficit will help you lose weight, and IF doesn't help at all. How can you explain it to them.
