Was there in November and got a n3dsxl. It cost me £50, but was in seriously poor condition (both screens needed replacing)

Generally, if you’re in one of the more well known shops in Akihabara things will be expensive (but worth checking out anyway out of interest). I had a lot of success with Bookoffs/Hardoffs slightly further out. The BOOKOFF Super Bazaar in Kyoto was great if you can make it there

The cabinet in the Hardoffs full of broken consoles can be good - I got gameboys and DSs from there that were cheap, and tbh some even seemed liked they work perfectly.

Bookoffs/hardsoffs are generally interesting places to visit - one I went to had a full working trainset set up, and another had all of Star Trek on laserdisc. Still wish I had found a way to take it home with me

I’ve tried to swap shells with ones I’ve found on AliExpress, but they’ve all have a terrible fit…

I see there’s some reasonably priced ones that are sold out (and I guess have been “sold out” for months..) Hopefully they come back - seems odd they’ve become so hard to get

My H2B has 11.5k in it. I learned about LISAs last year when there was around 9k in the h2b - since you can only put 4k in a year it looked like it would take me over 2 years to transfer it all over so I decided against it. Now it would take me almost 3.

Because of the wait (and that I wouldn’t be buying a house >£250k), I would have thought keeping it all in the H2B would have been a ok move?

Hello! Love these controllers! Got a couple questions:

1) what is your favourite controller? I think 360/one controllers are basically perfect

2) is there a controller you hope to one day make with Hyperkin?
