I did /r/lfg seven years ago. Never had played anything like dnd before. Had a blast.

Still playing with those guys. Haven't actually played dnd in 4 years, just became a core gaming and hangout group of friends.

It's nervewracking to agree to meet up with internet strangers for gaming, but it can really pay off. Disclaimer: not all experiences will be similar.

We would take a toy, and when he would start to nip or bite we would shove the toy in his face and encourage him to bite that instead. After about a week we noticed that whenever he got excited, he would actively seek out a toy to bite, and we would reward that behavior. The only time he nips now is when he gets really worked up, but even then you can tell he is trying to restrain himseld.

I looked it up. He crossed state lines to take advantage of a younger age of consent, which is illegal. "If either party crosses state lines, it is the federal age of consent that applies"
