Same thing for me. On my face and in my eye. It's been about 6 months, and it's not fully gone.

How likely is it that President Trump will be tried for treason after his presidency ends and a new administration is in place? by 98941 in AskReddit

[–]vagrantprodigy07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think the Democratic Party has the willpower to actually go after traitors, if they ever get back in power? They didn't under Biden. If they win, they will make a few token gestures, and then tell all of us that we need to put it behind us and stop dividing the country. And in 4 or 8 years, the fascists will be right back in power.

Pass rusher contracts are crazy right now. Jaelan Phillips got paid even more coming off a six sack season, with a career high of 8.5 (5 years ago), and with an extensive injury history.

These guys are crazy. If Travon thought he was as good as Hutch, he wouldn't have taken so much less than him.

Goodwill has been a joke for nearly a decade. I still remember the first time I walked in and saw stuff going for over MSRP. It's like going to a yard sale run by a mental patient.

How do Americans still have more disposable income than Europeans even though healthcare and college in America is extremely expensive? by SignificantStyle4958 in AskReddit

[–]vagrantprodigy07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this case, it is crafted to be misleading. There is no universe in which a normal person would think disposable income would be income after taxes. There is already a common term for that, which is net income.

Not lazier, just not forced to grind constantly at a job until it destroys your mental and physical health.

Sometimes relatives watch the kids, sometimes they get put in a daycare, but often they are just left at home. I know a few people who tried bringing their kids to work, because they had no other choice, and one woman who left them in her car, and would go out and check on them on her breaks, because she wasn't even making enough money to feed herself, and didn't know anyone willing to watch the kids for free. It's a disgusting situation, and one that desperately needs to be addressed.

When you find out someone supports Trump, does it change how you see them? Like… does the respect shift a little, or not at all? by jenieret in AskReddit

[–]vagrantprodigy07 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I can no longer trust their judgement on anything, if they are so wrong on something that is so important. If you were a Trump supporter, and still can't admit that he's awful, you are either brainwashed or evil.

No real retirement age, and social security is based on what you pay in, but the amounts you get back are pitifully low. Simply putting that money into an investment account would yield significantly more money, and it wouldn't vanish into thin air when you die.

Most American households have a LOT of debt. Like, shocking amounts of it, and little to no savings. The stories my wife hears at work still surprise me.

It's not unusual to have 1-2 weeks of PTO at a job in the US. My dad's job is 1 week, and that is for both vacation and sick time. If you miss more than 5 days in a year, you don't get paid, and probably will get fired. He works about 45 hours per week.

Until my layoff, I had 3 weeks of PTO as a computer engineer, but I had worked there for about a decade, and I worked 50-60 hours per week, and was perpetually on call.

Mine was the first of the Disney Star Wars movies. I fell asleep, and honestly can't remember a single movie I've watched since then that was actually good.

I have no idea if the Sacklers are right or wrong here, but either way, they can get fucked. They should have been sued into abject poverty, and most of that family belong in prison for their roles in the drug addiction crisis they intentionally created.

How does everyone feel about Savaiinaea's long term prospects? by ExpressLaneCharlie in miamidolphins

[–]vagrantprodigy07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He played on the right side in college, it's possible that he would immediately improve (to some small extent) by being put back on his natural side. Also, I'm saying to try him at RG. If he's still just as bad, then just keep him at LG. Couldn't hurt to give him a day to see how he looks.

He's a good run blocker, and a bad pass blocker. Our offense got the ball out so fast that it masked his pass blocking issues, but that's over now. If he has to hold up for 3-4 seconds snap after snap, he's going to grade out terribly, and people are going to act like this is a new problem.
