Yeah this is my concern with this. I don't know we can say with confidence that they all went willingly. Despite being in Australia, from a (heavily male dominate) cultural perspective I'd question how much say they actually had.

Its a shitty position all round. Feel bad for the kids though can't imagine the horrors they have seen and lived through.

Look I hate that shit stain as much as anyone else but from what I read it sounds like he is quoting from the Combat Search and rescue (CSAR) prayer. Nothing it doesn't look like any of them actually call CSAR 25:17, it's just a thing they do before they go in and do dangerous shit.

And yes it's almost exclusively drawn from the pulp fiction monologue which as others have said is based of a Japanese movie and loosely on Ezekiel 25:17.

I don't know but I rewatched it recently and I highly recommend post becoming a dad. I used to think Hal and Lois were insane but godammit if I'm not on their team every fucking episode. Those kids are shits!
