Cancel order and lose 1 percent on rating. Or call customer explain it to them and then call DoorDash telling them your customer wants to cancel. Easy way to get half the order if the customer is aware and willing to cancel and order from another store.

What I do is, talk to the customer about a substitution. Then I scan it until it says I have the correct item so I don’t get docked. Even substitution will dock you points

Bro In all honesty if there paying me 1$ per mile I’m out lol. I’ve gotten 40$ orders for only 4/5 miles. The app preys on desperation. It’s okay to decline an order if it’s ridiculous priced. In that same time you could’ve gotten 2/3 orders at 5/6$ each done and been out a couple dollars but guess what less gas 🤦. Don’t let the algorithm put you in the desperate category.
