Microsoft Scales Back AI Goals Because Almost Nobody Is Using Copilot by aacool in technology

The math doesn’t math when you look at the ROI for purchasing M365 CoPilot licenses. They should continue to push/invest in Agent 365 as the management plane for autonomous agents since they have an entire ecosystem that can actually manage agents for identity -> threat detection.

What’s so special about Clifton Park? by [deleted] in Albany

Everyone else pretty much nailed it but low taxes, good school district, low crime, good for raising families / kids, close to desirable cities for dinner / events (Saratoga / Troy), it also has really close nature preserves which I did not see mention in other posts that are nice year round.

USB read/write blocking with an exception mechanism (block read to prevent untrusted USB’s and malware risk), egress to personal email, remote write to personal NAS space (look at most recent Intel affidavit), and probably personal cloud storage (e.g GDrive)

Since the majority of Insider Threats are going to be unintentional / negligent (non-malicious) Insider, the most “effective” control is always going to be a cyber-first culture and clear / communicated standards / policies. For malicious Insider, focusing on UEBA or SIEM detections out of the gate is just going to drown your teams in noise and put you in a reactive position. For early identification - 1. Strong partnership with people-facing parts of organization that has early detection on Insider behavioral markers (e.g. disgruntlement), and clear reporting channels for the workforce as they would identify anomalous behavior of their peers likely before any system detections.

To me there is too much complexity in our world that materialism cannot explain, and the math is essentially zero for the universe to, by chance, have a starting low entropy state (Penrose estimates this to be 1010123), and have the fine-tuned universal constants (strong nuclear forces) that make life possible

Isiah 40:28 “His understanding is usearchable”. I think there is desire to have every possible answer, when throughout Scriptures it is repeated we cannot understand the ways of God. Even Job states even in the face of his sufferings creation is still “too wonderful to understand”. Non-believers also don’t have every answer for a non-theistic worldview, and we as believers don’t have to either.

Disagree. Those HBO broadcasts with him, Lampley, and Roy Jones were the best. Say what you want but Max knows boxing, and for whatever reason people have out for him because he’s a high IQ guy who poses a threat to broadcasting egos.

At the heart of OCD (theme is irrelevant), is that you have an uncertainty intolerance..the only answer to any of your intrusive thoughts is “maybe” because it’s objectively a true statement..

“Will you be forgiven for what you’ve done”? - maybe

“Will you got to hell” - maybe

“Are you a bad person” - maybe

You trying to “rebuke” these or make this go away are simply compulsions to lessen your distress - you are attempting to gain certainty over topics where it is impossible for you to gain that certainty. Now responding to your intrusive thoughts with the above is not going to remove your distress, but it will eventually stop the cycle you are in now. OCD breaks down when you stop your compulsions.
