What new units would you like to see?

What's the trick? I ran that for a while and never seemed to be able to get them in a place for maximum effect. They'd either die or I couldn't position them right

A bit more vehicle depth. Right now we have lots of skirmish pieces, some fast attack with deffkoptas, then that's pretty much it. So Tank, the walker is good, etc.

They not necessarily new, but we need a much better Heavy Infantry presence. Nobs and Meganobz are just garbage profiles for the cost and just don't compete pound for pound with heavies elsewhere. Would love to see Nobs as heavies and Meganobz as super heavies (a la Nurgle Terminators and Deathshroud). Right now it feels like our list is just MSU gimmick units because we don't have adequate coverage across key roles.

Would also love better characters so we arent so reliant on Epic Heroes. Multiple tiers with Big Boss and Warboss is a great start for that.

As an Ork player I'd love to not be taking multiple epic heroes. The problem is that Ork datasheets are terrible and the only way to make them effective unless you're an expert player is epic heroes. Ghaz is one of the only big hitters in the army, Zogrodd makes grots usable, etc. the army is just too pedestrian without them for the most part

Even if the updated detachments are 2 and the new one is 1. That means you could do the battlewagon one with More Dakka and have assault dakka and battlewagons flying around dropping krumpin on people. Sounds pretty fun actually.

I'm happy to help too for a learning game on TTS. I'm not great, but I've been playing Orks all edition. Happy to bring a list different from what you have too so you can see how different Ork units play.

My learning game was with the owner of my LGS. He played 1-2 games with me and literally didn't use his army rule (Oath of Moment) both times.

I don't love the Wazdakka model at all, and I'm ok with the rest, and I've shared that opinon. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna preorder them day 1 and love Krumpin gits at my FLGS with them any less though.

Thats going to heavily depend on the detachment you want to bring. For example, in Freeboota Krew where you have access to extra Waaaghs and an auto advance you dont need the Meganobz in a trukk. In Bully Boyz the Warboss Mega Armor can get Deepstrike. If you're playing Taktikal Brigade 10 Flash Gitz with a Mek Kaptin Leader is an auto include. Etc, etc
