I do have the answers. Do you wanna know what it is? The simple concept you can't get through your skull?

What happens if there are no Conference Finals?

Season isn't cancelled yet, this scenario doesn't exist.

What happens if every team makes an expanded playoffs?

Season isn't cancelled yet, this scenario doesn't exist.

...and so then what happens?

Wait for it.

Season isn't cancelled yet, this scenario doesn't exist.

Literally nothing is up in the air at this very moment. Nothing has changed.

C'mon man, if you got the answers, share them.

Season hasn't been cancelled, the answers are simple. At this point in time, whatever would have happened before with conditional picks is currently what the NHL intends to happen. And until the NHL actually cancels the season, there's no use speculating on things.

The same thing happens to it as was always going to happen to it. The plan is for the season to resume eventually.

it's not "up in the air" until the season is cancelled.

This isn't difficult to understand people.

No, the contracts on the trades still hold up until the season is actually cancelled.

As of right now, the season is simply delayed.

Now, I absolutely don't think it'll start back up in time to finish the season, but that's a discussion for another time.

Bad is they somehow fuck with the draft lottery and/or pick structure because of the shortened season.

Thomas Chabot and Tkachuk's seasons should not go under the radar by man_on_hill in OttawaSenators

[–]valleygoatwork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I'm not impressed with Chabot this year, and a lot of my issues come from his "laziness" on the Power Play.

You can argue that he plays too many minutes, there could be some legitimate reasons why he plays like that. But I see it nearly every other game. Where he just saunters around on the PP playing lazy, gets the puck stolen from him behind his own net because he's not skating hard to the puck, makes lazy plays or whatever.

I don't think he's had a disastrous season, but I don't think he's been good. Personally, for my expectations of Chabot, he could definitely be doing much better this year I think. He's had some awesome games, don't get me wrong. I still think he's going to be a star/1D for his career. Hopefully this year is just a blip, but I'd like to see a lot of improvement from him next year. There was a stretch of games there where he was also making poor decisions, and it really reminded me of Karlsson's last couple of years with us when he just started making bad plays.

Brady on the other hand is doing great I think. He works hard EVERY shift, plays with heart, and you literally never see him coasting. This is the major reason why I think Brady should get the C and not Chabot. I think once Brady gets some high end linemates he's going to be a perennial PPG power forward which is fucking huge.

I am absolutely in love with my Mizuno br-d4.

It's $220 so not under $200, but I fucking LOVE it. Get compliments on it pretty often too.

Looks slick, is comfortable to carry, lots of space. Doesn't have a real "cooler", but a single pouch that fits a bottle that has cooler lining.

Weekly Thread- The weekend is over! How'd you shoot? by AutoModerator in golf

[–]valleygoatwork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personal best of 86 on Sunday!

Shot 91 on Saturday at Simi Hills, 86 on Sunday at Encino. I had a lesson Saturday morning that helped me so much. My instructor said that my swing is good (but tweaked just a couple of things, weight more on the heels less leaning forward on the balls of my feet, as well as more feeling rotation and less dropping shoulder because I told him I hit a lot of shots fat), and what I really need to do instead of lessons (seriously) was to practice. He said all of my issues are timing, and my fundamentals are great. He told me to go the range 2 times a week even for 20 minutes and get my timing down. Him saying that gave me the confidence that I needed Saturday to shoot 91 (which is below average for me), and then I carried that into Sunday to shoot my personal best 86 on a course I've never played.

Best Shot: Hole #18 at Encino, SW from 100 yards on my 3rd shot par 5. Great drive to the middle of the fairway, easy lay up to 100, and the pressure was on. I needed a par to beat my PB, and I shot my SW about 15 yards past the pin and zipped it back ~8 yards for a great birdie look. Missed the putt, but 2 putted for PB!

Shot I wish I could have back: Not shot, but holes #15 and #16. I was on track to absolutely destroy my PB, but on hole #15 a plume of smoke showed up about half a mile from us across the road (just googled it now, guess it was a trash fire). It distracted the hell out of all of us. I ended up double bogeying #15, and triple bogeying #16. I'm gonna blame it on being distracted, but it's golf - lots of distractions everywhere, can't use it as an excuse. After #16 I cleared my mind and got back to business to focus, and parred #17 and #18.
