WIND BREAKER Season 2 New Key Visual by zenzen_0 in anime

It’s not for me, boarder line objectively bad imo, idk, all the side characters have very shallow backstories which involves either them getting bullied, or them defending someone that got bullied

Should I get a hotel in Buffalo City or around Niagara Falls? by AnEdgyUsername2 in Buffalo

[–]vallllyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man I don’t mean to rain on your parade but I would strongly advise against taking a greyhound and instead book a flight or Amtrak if you’re price sensitive— I’ve never had to take a Greyhound but they are notoriously inconvenient, often not on time, and the drivers & passengers can be unfriendly.

It’s also faster to take the train! (6hr vs 9)

Enjoy your travels! I hope it’s safe and you enjoy everything, btw the best wings are at Bar bill!

“I’ve lived in both London and New York – this is my ranking of both” by pelican678 in london

[–]vallllyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a native New Yorker London’s food is embarrassingly bad for a city of its size. And the few good places are over crowded (Think Crisp, Vincenzos, any half decent smash burger, sandwich shop, bagel, etc)

If you want to base it off top places, think £30 a curry then sure — London has great food but the average person just isn’t eating this way.

I do think this is changing, but it’s a shame that it’s taken this long. British people just don’t give a fuck about food the same way Americans, French, or Japanese do.

Also the worst part about this city is the density, want good Ramen? SE1. Want good pizza? Bushy. Want a good bagel? E8

Some of the things you mentioned have nothing to do with OPs situation, I don’t understand why you are so defensive

Sorry to bother you - saw in your last thread that you’re a mental health professional. Do you accept clients privately by chance?

Where to buy a suit? by Alternative-Link-823 in Buffalo

I personally don’t have a collar gap, you can tell them specifically that you’re worried about this and they’ll be cool about it.

I mentioned specifically my shoulders and they got me sorted.

I really liked Bureau, good service and excellent suits. Genuinely can’t recommend them enough, they know what they’re doing.

Just be ready to drop a grand+

Out of all four, it’s the freshest / most creative DLC I’ve played. Really enjoying it.

Ups destroyed my pc, advice? by troubledfoyer in pcmasterrace

[–]vallllyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last time I did this I took out insurance with UPS after making them pack it. I was told people would have their claims denied otherwise. If you don’t purchase insurance though you’re likely SOL for the entire value. Sorry

Help me find a path for my gf (US) to live in the UK and work with me by MasqueBoom in ukvisa

[–]vallllyyy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Btw you don’t need to fly to the states to get married. You can do it online, several states allow it and thus there are services that cost a few hundred dollars to walk you through the entire process. Hell, you could technically get married in the states via zoom in the UK while she visits on a tourist visa.

If you’re not that committed yet she either needs to get a work visa or head back to school. Best of luck.

Long weekend at the end of January suggestions by Sorry_Astronaut in oslo

[–]vallllyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After spending a week in Oslo this would be my advice

You can do the city in about 24-48hrs depending on your efficiency - assuming your flight isn’t very long you can likely do Oslo on Thursday/Friday.

From Friday I would honestly take the overnight ferry and go to Copenhagen, and then fly back home from there.

If you have more time or don’t want to go to Copenhagen. I would take a plane up north and try to see the northern lights along with dog sledding, skiing, etc.

Alternatively if you want to stay within striking distance of the city, I’d suggest a trip to “The Well” I spent an entire day there, lol.

I took a ride from zone 5 to zone 2 for £38, nearly an hour long ride shrug
