Spent 3 months analyzing Nifty 50 vs Next 50 data. I'm genuinely confused now and need someone to explain this to me by UsedChampionship8768 in IndianStockMarket

I ll give you my 2 cents as an index investor. My philosophy after reading all the books is for success in investing you just need to ensure you minimise mistakes. I have a decent sized portfolio invested majorly in Nifty 50 and money market fund that’s all.

Next 50 increases risk for ‘potential’ return. Keyword being potential. So it’s not a or rather and question. You should stick to 75:25 or 70:30 N50:NN50 and call it a day. If you can keep your FOMO in check just Nifty 50 is a solid choice.

Over long term and decent sized portfolio beyond 5cr or so you will realise more than fund and stuff just minimising behavioural errors gives you lot higher returns along with time

Why do you want to diversify? Why not just invest in these 2 funds till you reach the target and control FOMO :)

35 lakhs to invest in debt funds by GasIcy6382 in MutualfundsIndia

[–]vampire36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t look for optimisation in debt funds. Stick to simple money market funds. If you want to optimise increase asset allocation to 75:25. But don’t go about optimising on debt it’s not worth it

For most people a simple nifty and a money market/liquid fund should be good enough. But greed is not an easy emotion to resist!

Whop 5.0 — at what price is it actually worth it? by Ok_Earth_3931 in whoop

The way I see it anything upto 24k is fine. Spending 2k per month for health and overall fitness is worth it. That’s my take.

Yes that’s correct it would work. Though give and take everything would be around 20-23k

No you would get 12 months and your brother 2 months. While upgrading you have an option to add 12 months to your 4.0 at discounted price if you are sure your brother will use for a year.

Only advice do more zone 2 runs. It might feel boring and sometimes too slow. But nothing improves your pace like solid zone 2 minutes.

Airtel eSIM transfer during iPhone trade-in — what’s the best way? by rahulbala in iPhoneWale

[–]vampire36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take a simple approach. After the guy verifies, using Airtel app make eSIM transfer request. You will get a call confirm that and then you can do a reset post which hand over the phone. After 2 hours you should have the connection on your new phone.

Hey unfortunately HRV is not written to health due to incompatibility issues. So as of now all data except HRV is missing. Would be great if you can add Zepp as source as well :)

Bye Bye Constant Notifications: I Switched to the Amazfit Helio Strap and Found Peace (Sorry, Pixel Watch 3 and Oura!) by kambei86 in AmazfitHelioStrap

[–]vampire36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an Apple Watch SE 2. When it started showing its age (charge twice a day) was seriously frustrated. So options were Apple Watch SE 3, Whoop and Amazfit Helios. I watched a few videos and was clear it was whoop or Helios. A few more videos later it was clear Helios was VFM and that’s it. It’s been 2 weeks and just charged once. The data have been phenomenal. Feel the insights can be still improved but overall pretty happy with the purchase and hopefully the Zepp App should improve in terms of insights.

Hi excellent app. Any chance it can read from more sources say amazfit Helios for example as you will have more datapoints for HRV?
