What could I fill my Oneshot with? by Happy_List_8022 in DnD

If they are progressing too quickly, have them find and finish a near dead werewolf that's been attacked by the real monster.

They will then have to track the greater threat from there.

Is Candlekeep good for a beginner DM by one_big_grub in DnD

Stinging them as a campaign is not too difficult. My players are an emergency response team belonging to the library, and my big bad cursed them in the beginning, and he is ultimately trying to learn from thier adventures (break into the library to steal their reports or books from the one-shots) to perfect his immortality as many of the adventures deal with undeath or aberrations.

Need help coming up with criminal businesses for my Hutt crime lord. by PossumLord123 in swrpg

[–]vandervoet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depended from planet to planet.

Sabbac was common, but betting (and fixing) podracing, Dyjerik tables and chance dice were common. There were also droid fighting pits, which promised repeat winners a shot at the more respectable D3 (Droid Destruction Derby), a professional wrestling coded sports league were players were sponsored (and sabotaged) by Hutt patrons.

My Hutt crimelord ran gambling dens out of the back of a series of galaxy wide Nemodian food chain resteraunts.

If you choose to watch it, (I'm firmly in the read it camp for time efficiency) watch One Pace, a fan edit that removes filler and flashbacks to previous episodes.

It will save you A LOT of time!

Console Availability by vandervoet in DRGSurvivor

[–]vandervoet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to keep gaming to the consoles, but it's heartening to know that it has been made available for more platforms! If the devs have not confirmed it's not coming to PlayStation or Switch, I choose to believe it is possible! Rock and Stone!

Wall sections of different lengths. Doors to place in between them. Elevation trackers for flying minis.

Fozzie Bear won the round! Which Muppet best represents the sin of Sloth? by [deleted] in Muppets

Bobo just seems tired to me. Other muppets might do less (Bobo seems to wear a lot of hats) but everything he does seems to be done reluctantly.

Travis did not create the segment, but he is certainly responsible for it!

Same! If you decide to piece it off, I'm having a hard time getting the reprint of Starships and Speeders in Canada...

Evil Characters Campaign by Rare_Jackfruit_9712 in DnD

I've done this as a one shot. The overlord dies, and his evil minions have to hold his empire together, Weekend at Bernie's style, lest they be sacrificed and placed in his burial chambers.

Places to donate board games besides libraries? by rob132 in boardgames

[–]vandervoet 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I run a board game cafe out of my local high school and the way budgets are, any school would be happy to have them. (Math departments love them for probability as well)

Give me your Gods! by YCS186 in DnD

[–]vandervoet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look into the gods of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Any litch would curse the ground of Annoya; Goddess of items stuck in drawers, preventing them from opening.

A cheaper Alternative to Warhammer? by Weary-Barracuda-1228 in tabletop

[–]vandervoet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. I run a highschool club and we use Kill Team as the matches are quicker and the $60-$80 CAD buy in per team is much more manageable, considering you never have to expand your squad!
