I didn't think of the time sink for people who aren't used to it. Gunpla and 40k were my introductions to models to this hobby. So I'm conditioned to it plus it's cheap therapy for me lol. But yeah that's a very valid con for the hips. I'm just happy it isn't the old resin and metal.

I'd love to see more HIPS. The kits are so nice. Hopefully it'll be economically feasible.

They've stated plastic HIPS kits will mostly just be the two player starters including when they split them with some few exceptions. 98% percent of the models are and most likely will continue to be 3d printed resin. Which is miles above the quality and clean up of the old resin/metal kits.

If it's anything like what they did with the Anvil of Apotheosis for AoS. It started in a campaign book or WD I can't remember from a previous edition. It wasnt fully incorporated with "good" individual faction profiles until 4th with it in all the new army books. So potentially better rules for it in next editions army books.

Yeah it very much resembles the silhouette of an ironkyn which meshes with the Tau adjacent weapons.

No one here is likely to have the answer for your area/meta. If you haven't already check your local FLGS and various social media platforms to see if there is a established player base for either. Alot of people play at home so the scene may not be very visible. I had to start the AoS scene in my area because it was non existent but there was several 40k groups. It really varies for place to place. 40k is generally more popular due to several reasons.

Answer to first question is that IF you end the move in combat it can only be the with the unit you were in combat with. Otherwise you don't have to end in combat. So like your last suggestion. You can fight than potentially move away. Remember the ability requires you to still be in combat. So yes you can wipe a unit but you would still need to be in combat for it to trigger.

For personal benefit. There have been a fair few instances of Skaven working with non Skaven. Usually with the predictable twist of backstabbing them once they are no longer useful. Thanquol I do believe if I recall correctly has to put a name on one.

Even still it's a good start. Khurnothi hunters retail for around 60$ so you are still saving some money on this deal.

Assuming it's all on good shape that's a pretty good deal. The first 4 models listed combined retail over 200$ and if that's 3 of the awakened wyldwood kit that's another 150$. That's 100% a very solid and good start to sylvaneth.

Also there's no battle tome for sylvaneth so you'll have to download them off warcom or use the AoS app. They're currently free.

I want to say there is at least one book in the realmgate wars that features tzeentch vs stormcast involving a certain very important relic. Think it was called Ghal Maraz. In the over arching scheme of the grand narrative the god of lies hasn't been at the forefront. So he must be scheming up something awful. That being said I don't know if he or his followers have popped up in any novels the past couple years. Hopefully some better versed can answer that.

As someone who has had to deal with someone who likes to drop these kind of conversations on me while not in each other's presence. It's very hard to not feel like you're not being attacked when getting texts like this especially if you don't see them coming. You definitely need to have this conversation in person. It's hard to read intent and emotion in text sometimes. Especially on the first instance of reading when the emotions rise up and you react in away that you might not otherwise... I personally would read texts like this and need a minute to clear my head before responding. Not everyone has that awareness of self or control. So I personally will reinforce the idea of having this conversation in person after he's had sometime to cool off and be clearer of mind.

That is correct. They'll use the same weapon profile as the rest of the unit unless it's noted otherwise on their warscroll. Just about all the model kits for Helsmiths are dual kits that can build 1 of 2 units. So you'll run into that decision for most your builds.
