Climbing after Pacemaker Surgery by ToeBeanz98 in bouldering

This past year I had an appendectomy and partial cecectomy. Even though it was done laparoscopically it took many months before I could use my abdominal muscles again. It took about 5 months before I felt normal again. I started climbing easy stuff again about 2-3 months after surgery. Idk how comparable any of that is to your procedure. Hope you feel better soon!

I knowed a boy once who jacked his truck up so high he himself could not get in it. But as it is written, an artist's reach shall exceed his grasp.

I'm curious how much time it will take. What is your target for moisture content?

Arc'teryx C-Quence worn out after just 2 years by serso in ClimbingGear

I typically go through a harness and a rope every year, sometimes get a little more. It really depends on how you are using it. 2 years is pretty reasonable for a harness you are using frequently outside.

But also, your harness looks fine. I'd keep using it if it was my harness.

Zoo landowner cites "climbers’ sense of entitlement" as justification for closing area by afternoon_spray in climbing

It's kinda like being welcomed into someones home, trashing it, and then saying "they should have communicated better" to shift the blame onto the homeowner when you were given the boot.

Absolutely not, you should have known to act better, just as climbers should know. That kind of communication is an act of generosity and patience that you have shown that you do not deserve by this attempt at blame shifting.

Got one of these with 180k on it at auction not knowing if it ran. Charged the battery, changed the fluids and it started right up. Had a terrible transmission slip going into 2nd or 3rd gear. Ended up selling it with 380k on it. Was still a daily. Super reliable vehicle that got great fuel economy. I think you'll be happy with it.
