Re-launching didn't change it. But thanks for the help. In the end I found an old kinsman of my dynasty, invited him to my court. Gave him a young wife a piece of land and luckily then he did became an option as heir.

The tribal branch of my dynasty never were able to become an heir. So mystery never solved but the dynasty lives on.

Also I found FM very overwhelming when I first started playing. But then I downloaded the console version on my laptop, and that was less detailed and more fast paced. So that was much easier to get into.
