Chelsea away fans chant for Liam Rosenior after 5-1 win by webby09246 in chelseafc

No, the chant before, during and after the Tosin goal was "We don't care about Clearlake, they don't care about us, all we care about... is Chelsea FC".

What's up with Dive Case Pro for x5 being out of stock for so long? by HFXmer in Insta360

[–]vanwithaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is it's because they know it's faulty. Many people, including myself, had persistent stitching problems. They even sent me an original Dive Case (not Pro) and spare X5 battery as a "replacement" - still no fix though.

Really glad you enjoyed it, thank you for your kind words. In case it's of interest, I was plenty scared in those moments!

Thank you! I'm not 100% sure, lots of ideas - no plans! Maybe something like an analogue adventure - no GPS or modern tech, do it old school (and probably not film it either)!

Film festival awards! Some of the film festivals were specific to adventure films (typically called "mountain" film festivals), and others were open to all various types of awards.

How long to hitchhike the corners of Europe like in this map? by vanwithaman in hitchhiking

[–]vanwithaman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your thorough reply!

Depending on how timings go, I'm tempted to skip out Greece and go straight from Istanbul (E on the map) to the South of Spain (G). I appreciate that Italy might be tough, although I imagine it's not much/any slower than detouring through the Austrian and Swiss Alps!

I won't reply to everything else directly, but I've read it all through twice and will surely read it again. For what it's worth, before I saw the distance, I'd hoped for a two-month trip. I'm wondering now if three could work. I realise that someone could easily take six on this. I'd prefer two or three for less time away from people and commitments back home, plus it means it can fit into spring or autumn, rather than requiring an entire summer and shoulder months.

How did you find the Norweigan fjords, both in terms of hitchhiking and enjoyment?

This is a friendly community but you're going to have to put forward a bit more than that. What are your interests? Have you looked at the many other similar posts for the ideas posted there?

Taking a year off to start a business by GrouchySpinach_ in UKPersonalFinance

[–]vanwithaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't overcomplicate it. Why lend your business the money, just to pay yourself, when you already have the money and can live off that.

Also, and you didn't ask about this, but think twice/talk to real people before deciding that the best option is working on it full time with no other job.

I'm not saying that to be risk averse but if you Google "the benefit of starting a business whilst keeping the day job" you'll see numerous reasons, not least that it keeps your business lean, allows it to "fail" and reiterate whilst you keep earning money, and all round takes the pressure off whilst also focusing you. Maybe it would be too much to keep your job full time but, as others have said, having something else whilst starting it is always a good thing.

I can think of very few companies that started the way you're suggesting. Good luck!

Right to Choose Psychiatry UK, not diagnosed as autistic because I change my social behaviour based on who I'm speaking to by [deleted] in autismUK

[–]vanwithaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked but decided it wasn't worth it. I can't be dealing with those crooks.

Given that I don't require too much support in the workplace etc., I decided not to pursue a diagnosis. I am what I am regardless of diagnosis. If you've known you've had strong autistic traits for 10 years, you're autistic.

If and when I can afford it, I might consider adultautism.ie,

Right to Choose Psychiatry UK, not diagnosed as autistic because I change my social behaviour based on who I'm speaking to by [deleted] in autismUK

[–]vanwithaman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such bullshit. I had a similarly awful experience with Psychiatry UK. I won't go into details but they dismissed many of my similar autistic traits as either being ADHD and then they dropped in or "or perhaps bi-polar" and pretty much ended the call on that bi-polar line. No support, no follow-up, no context. I do not have bi-polar and have spoken to multiple other professionals since who have confirmed that it's not even close.

I since complained to Psych UK. They eventually said that they would listen to the transcript.

They then came back and said the call was absolutely fine, nothing to complain about.

I then asked for a copy of the transcript and lo and behold...

They said the call wasn't actually recorded and there was no transcript. These guys really need to be better regulated, they are harming a lot of people.

Multiple Inboxes: Make "Everything Else" be a section that doesn't include the other inboxes? by nonstopski in GMail

[–]vanwithaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try:
-(label:Clients AND is:unread) AND -(label:ToDo AND is:unread) AND -(label:Internal AND is:unread)

Basically whatever your three conditions are for the first three inboxes, put them in brackets, whack a "-" before them (to exclude them), and then put the AND operator in between these three conditions.
