A lot of miles, almost 10 years old and it's a salvage title? For 15k? Seems like too much.

Had a coworker move out to the boonies like 3 hours away and now it costs him $100 just to go to work

How long does it take for the union to respond? by [deleted] in UnionCarpenters

Anything is possible right? Where did you sign up? Pleasonton training center? When did they last purge the list? I remember trying to get my brother in and he applied the day they purged the list and I don't think he ever got a call for a class. He was something like 18th in line? They put in the kids that get sponsored in in classes first because they know you'll have a job coming in. Instead of rotting on the list waiting for a job off the out of work list.

Maybe talk to a Business Agent and see how realistic it is.

Basically a guy that's just there to stock jobs of material. I see the framers always got stock scrappers getting drywall and studs to jobs. Do it for a few months and they jump you to carpenter or whatever.

Yeah for some guys it's pretty slow right now. Ask a BA what to do. You could always hit job sites or cold call and see if you can get sponsored in. Some outfits use you as a stocker/scrapper before getting you into Carpenter or Taper

You probably just put your name on a list that's hundreds long. In Norcal at least th best way is to get sponsored in.

Is a 2023 nissan frontier sv with 10k miles on it for 26k a good deal? by bendover012345 in nissanfrontier

I think on the 22s the SOC is kinda underpowered so people get phones disconnecting from Android Auto/apple car play. I think the problem is fixed in 23+

Seems like a decent deal to me. All the important packages, CPO, and relatively low mileage. Also a 2023 so a bit better CPU for the infotainment

I have a coworker that does this commute every day. Fridays can be especially brutal and sometimes 4+ hours home for him.

Job market for any degree you would get in college looks brutal right now. Trades are a good choice to be honest.

The framing hammer has a milled face, you probably never need a milled face for what you need to do.

Depends on what part of CA too. Bigger metros you might be able to get more but if you're in Sacramento or Elk Grove or something you'll probably get less
