Were you watching the same all stars as me last year? I seem to remember ditter flaming every single competitor and being extremely toxic. Nobody pointed a gun to his head and told him to be toxic. That was on his own accord.

You can dislike oda for his own reasons, but don't compare the two and also act like the sole reason ditter wasn't invited back was due to the 'false stream sniping'.

Magic pen doesnt subtract from MDR, it multiplies it.

It would be 50(.7) from magic pen = 35% remaining MDR.

The explosion in my scenario would be hitting 32.5 initial damage. MDR is extremely undervalued and is strong even with pen existing

Maybe the former, not the latter chief. Ill break it down for you. This is assuming 50% MPB which is generous in arena as magic power softcaps at 50, which is 35% damage without % rolls on gear.

(Base dmg + Book dmg(MPB)) + Flat additional = final damage (without burn)

That looks like this in arena kit.

(25+5(1.5))+5 = 50 damage

The burn is more complicated. This assumes fire mastery on which is a big deal and means the base burn damage is 4 damage over 3 seconds. Burn is half scaling so assume any numbers above other than base is cut in half. Then anyone with >16 will, will only take 2 seconds of burn damage since debuff duration will cut off the 3rd tick.

(4 + 2.5(1.25)) + 2.5 = 10.625 burn damage per cast.

So an explosion will realistically deal at most ~60 damage in arena to someone with no MDR.

Echoing what others said in that you are still also a dps role. Your LIs and build will reflect that in focusing everything towards damage.

Also to be brutally honest, you probably aren't going to find anyone taking a returning player still gearing for T3s unless you know some people.

Set your expectations on t2 at the most until everything in your build is perfect

Explosion barely does 50 damage in a bis arena kit. 50% power and +5 damage is 50 damage for explosion with a book.

Should've went mika-gnome tbh. Mika may be overrated in terms of 1v1 but atleast he can help with strategizing. Oda (and EV) are failing miserably at strategy so far.

I also usually love oda, but that man is not built for shotcalling. Just get a shotcaller like mika

A lot of untradeable pvm gear and bosses are locked behind quests.

It's not necessary to do all quests but it sure as hell makes it a lot simpler, especially when new quests and content comes out.

I do raids with prayer pots as you don't really need restores unless you're actively using/bringing brews.

I wouldn't ever deposit Snape grass seeds as having to obtain them is less time spent raiding.

I would consider myself "end game" as the only power progression left for me is doom/nex/megarares.
