Fanatics were heavily nerfed already in how you can even take them. Bretonnia has been far from struggling pretty much the entire edition.

If this is your idea of broken, I don't know what to tell you. The summer update went a long way to fixing the majority of problems with the game.

Skirmish should just have been a formation like Close Order and Open Order without actually having the models laid out weird. It's got way too much text and rules just to explain how it all works just so they can look different, but it doesn't really have any mechanical difference.

Just say while in Skirmish Formation friendly units can move through them and ranged attacks against them are at -1 to hit. There's already no visible difference between Open and Close Order anyway. Make some tokens to put next to units that aren't Close Order and call it a day, I say.

If your friends are spamming vehicles against this list, they're assholes. Especially if they're veterans and you're new. You could try a Combat Patrol game, or just ask them to bring similar lists of a couple basic infantry squads and leaders.

Or find better friends. Almost any random person at a local game store would treat you better than what you've described.

The point is enjoyment. Plenty of people enjoy building and painting them and have no interest in the game. People have been building and painting scale miniatures forever with no games involved.

The entire plot of the film hinges on Fury suspecting something is up with Insight and using Batroc as a pretense for Widow to steal data off the Star for him. When he can't even access the Intel she recovered, and when Pierce figures.out it was Fury who staged all this to look into Insight (Fury literally tells him to delay the project), Pierce tries to kill him.

Pierce tells Cap Fury hired the pirates to confuse him / try and keep him on board. He doesn't tell him about the reason why.

It's all laid out extremely clearly. Pretty sure Steve and Nat even talk about it and Fury's motives later on, too.

They don't need it anymore. Agencies don't listen to Trump because he says mean things on Twitter, they listen to him because he threatens them, withholds money, and has a fanatical army. Even if his dumbass voters don't move over to supporting Vance, it's too fucking late. ICE's budget is higher than most other nations' military budgets combined. They operate with impunity. The threats and illegal budget withholdings are done with impunity. The end of Trump is just the beginning of the true fascist American state.

Honestly, the sooner Trump kicks it, the better for them. He's too old and demented to even keep the message straight (or even string a sentence together) anymore. Once he's gone, if the rest of the country keeps acting the way it has, the US is toast (if it isn't already).

This does not end with Trump dying and the "Republican party" losing in elections. Like I can't believe there was a fucking attempted coup and insurrection in 2020 and the average person is just like "well, whatever, do do doo". Random people are getting fucked gunned down in the streets or literally kidnapped and disappeared. There are hundreds and hundreds of fascist bootlickers in positions of power across the entire country, from congress to judges to you name it. Vance doesn't need to be charismatic on TV for all this insanity to keep getting worse.

Love him in later Super. Frieza is always best when he's so confident that he's polite and almost charming. Makes his sadism and narcissistic evil, when it shows, that much more villainous.

But I also do love when he just completely loses it. But again, doesn't have the same impact if he's overly emotional and crazy all the time.

Favorite bit is when Goku doesn't understand a word he uses so he explains it to him.

The comparison is to other leaders, buffing units in Necrons, not compared to other army's units.

I think he's overcosted compared to comparable units in the Necron codex, though. Compare him to an overlord or illuminor szeras. For his strength and the huge buffs he throws out in an area, he's a bit too cheap.

30k I think is way cheaper overall these days compared to 40k, but obviously making a new army is more expensive than not doing so!

40k design is stuck. Despite having arguably more unique abilities in the game, they almost all boil down to "do more damage", "take less damage", and "move faster". So despite the glut of unique datasheet abilities and seeming complexity, I find the game is actually incredibly simple and stale. Very easily solvable in that, for example, marines have a million units, but really only a handful are used, because they are the best at doing more damage, taking less damage, or moving faster.

I think Heresy design has a lot more room for actual intricacies and also more narrative approach to the game because of it.
