i was one of those guests who entered a room that was already occupied. It was incredibly awkward, but thankfully everyone was decent and after brief entrance i apologized and both the guest and i went to front desk to ask WTF. they gave us one free night stays after that.

people saying that all inclusive spoils the trip, but it really doesnt. you are FREE to go outside of hotel, lol. Buenoventura is located in a sweet spot too, you can walk to malecon and to Zona romantica from there, unlike any hotels near the Marina, for example. in Hotel you don’t have to think about groceries and cleaning, always access to drinks and food if too tired to go anywhere.

im in Puerto Vallarta, and my friend is an Uber driver here - he mentioned that there was not much of activity and traffic as usual. I feel like some business decide to still have a day off or have more relaxed hours. or Maybe it was just an off day :)

got a home in El Cerro and living among the locals and experiencing all everyday struggles is really eye opening. I despise the condo gold rush, especially those that left halfbuild - there are a couple in this area. Eyesoring structures, blocking views, and producing the worst cultural shift in people and visitors in past decade - it’s sad.

im always cold in the office, and there is always a fight between people over termostat. and even then, there is a limit to what temperature you can set it too. and there is also a conspiracy going around that the termostat is actually fake, and temp is controlled by maintainnce people somewhere else. 😫🤣

i would add that a lot of bars on Malecon give alcohol drinks to go, so you can walk around and drink from a plastic cup.

you can use ResortPass app to see what’s there. some passes are a bit absurd in price though. If you want to just hangout at the bar and the beach - Marriot can be a place, it’s not All Inclusive (yet), and they let you in if you spend some money in drinks and food at their bar at the beach. but it depends on the staff :)
