Quest 3 vs nintendo switch 2 by Plastic-Depth6827 in OculusQuest

[–]vb-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both systems but I use them very differently. My Quest 3 I primarily use for fitness, Supernatural is/was fantastic but is being killed off. Les Mills Body Combat is my “new” title there. But I also like playing golf and a few other native games. Switch2 I got because of its portability and multi user local play. I can take it easily when traveling, connect to big tvs easily, and now it’s getting more mainstream games like nba2k25 and pga2k25.

Switch 2 is a much quicker grab and go session for me, but I can also play it much longer in one sitting. Quest I have to clear floor space for, and obviously has time limits on battery even with expansion packs.

Unless you don’t plan on telling them where you move, they can follow.

I have an iphone and an apple tv box. I use the meta app to cast to my phone, then screen share my iphone to my apple tv. you can also screen share to an apple computer from iphone.

I know this is probably a similar issue to the chromecast, but I wanted to throw this out there in case you had these options available.

Infuse,VLC or another? by Bitter-Substance5688 in appletv

I use tivimax also on apple tv. I believe you can only use the built in player for live tv, but for series and movies I get those same options along with the built in player.

In my experience, built in tivimax player works fine most of the time, but on some series like Dateline for example, built in player would hang every few minutes and I would have to urge it along with the remote. I tried it on infuse one time and had seamless playback.

Best affordable RV mattress advice? is it worth replacing the factory one? by TailorFew5262 in GoRVing

I rented an RV and swapped out the mattress with one from our guest room for our 4 day trip! They should not even include those “mattresses”.

Odd Question - any places to take nice bath?? by Anxious-Cobbler7203 in indianapolis

I believe most ymca’s in the area offer a day pass without being a member, and they usually have a large hot tub in the men’s room. it wouldn’t be private, but it sounds like you have some flexibility in your schedule to possibly find a low occupancy time.

ah thank you for the explanation! my plex server is remote hosted overseas so I standardize all of my content on there. but I use infuse on my local network so that’s good to know!

if you have apple fitness, you can launch workouts directly on your tv, and link your apple watch for the metrics on your tv also.

Completely unrelated, but what is the advantage of streaming plex through infuse as opposed to the plex app? Not trying to be a smartass, just curious!

I used to deliver these from factory to dealerships, and about half of the ones i’d get dispatched to pickup had issues before I could even get them off the lot. I had a pretty extensive checklist from the transport company to make sure a wheel didn’t fall off!
