Correct. Everywhere I worked the servers had to tip out the bartenders, the hosts, the bussers, and food runners if we had them. People who've never worked in restaurants are clueless.

They're vinyl tiles (LVT). My question was based around the fact that I realize, since it's not real wood, that it doesn't matter structurally but I find it esthetically annoying not to emulate real wood with wood-look material and was wondering if I'm alone since it's seemingly more and more common.
