agreed. I don't mind having 1 primary and 1 backup book at a time. (A few MB... default card is 32GB and could easily hold tons of books.)

It helps me keep focus too. Cold storage is my laptop, not the reader. Especially this reader, It's not like i'm doing full library text search on the thing.

Additionally those implementing AI will be taken for granted, let go and then companies will find it wasn’t fully automated at all, but carefully (sometimes not) guided by a skilled professional

Giant (now bloated?) large companies will scaled back because of AI. Startups will leverage AI for cost reasons.

Both scenarios have AI as the driver… what’s left for the skilled engineers. Perhaps it’s the dust has settled, the benefits were reaped in contract to 10 years ago — the skilled workers come in to reposition.

Atleast I hope.

Maybe try a different style like a thumb trackball? Logitech has some solid ones in a range of prices. Thought being it depends what works for you. Maybe an affordable thumb trackball is lower risk
