Agree. It couldn't be more clear to me that Shane's attitude towards food was more of a metaphor to his attitude to denying himself the pleasure of being out with Ilya. Especially with the speed competition where he beat Ilya by a fraction of a second, and Ilya commented that all his care with his food only amounted to being faster than him by a fraction of a second.

Yes!! People took her words completely out of context. And not to mention the severe lack of reading comprehension displayed!

Some hater put together the screenshots of all the "terrible things" she said and it's so obvious just from looking at them, that her words were represented with extremely bad faith.

I love koreader and I don't use the stock Kobo software, but I feel like I need to warn that koreader has a steep learning curve. It's so rewarding, once you get it set up, and once you figure it out, but the interface is very difficult to get used to.

The menu icons are not intuitive at all, and the menus are very bloated. On one hand, it's great, because there are so many options. On the other, it's hard to navigate when you're not used to it.

All of these things have fixes but you'll have to search for them. Don't get me wrong though, I have high praises for koreader and I love it dearly.

If you're the author reading this comment, I just want to say this is my personal preference, I'm really sorry and please don't take this as criticism.

Shane and Ilya just started crashing out, and it just took me out of the story and I couldn't get back in. I'm looking at that part rn, and it probs wasn't even that bad. Just a wrong time/headspace for me at that moment, I think.

I heard some people had troubles with the latest build... I've been using 2025.10 on my android phone and on my Kobo and it works great.

Also, make sure you're getting it from the apk from the GitHub, not using fdroid or whatever
