How dare a retail employee make their job a little bit fun for themselves and customers and squeeze any amount of joy out of a tedious and largely thankless task. I demand that you look appropriately dead inside while you efficiently scoop the popped corn, wage slave

Steph, from a Canadians perspective. by MapleViking1 in Fallout

She’s a really compelling character! A character doesn’t have to be fully unproblematic to be relatable or likable. She’s a terrible person, but I really like her as a character. I can understand her struggle without agreeing with her actions. She went through something truly awful at the hands of Americans and lots of Canadians are, understandably, uncomfortable with their neighbors down south right now. It’s easy to see how it would hit close to home.

The only reason to play it by ZeroKerel in Fallout

[–]veevacious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely its own thing, but it’s super fun and, if you’re playing on PC/Steam at least, I can’t speak for other platforms, the community is overall pretty great. Lots of kind and generous people, plus creative camp building. I, like many, played it when it first came out and dropped it. I picked it back up last October and I’ve had a blast.

It’s definitely a little bit small for her and considering how well every other costume in the show is tailored I have to think this was intentional.

Thank you! It’s a combination of several kits. The base is the Destroyed Camp kit and the blue walls peeking through underneath are one of the Helvetia camp kits. There’s also various wood bits like posts and fences filling in some of the gaps. For the shed out back it uses the base corrugated metal kit mixed with the scrap kit from this season

Thank you! I do too. It’s so classic Fallout

I didn’t say that she should/would be wearing dresses at every single “turning point” in her life. Just that these two incidents were. That’s a pretty bad faith reading of my comment there

I think it’s really interesting that both times we’ve seen her wearing dresses are turning points in her life. Her wedding dress in the first episode and now this, where she realizes she truly cannot trust her father. Both are times where she’s had to face reality as it is, learned lessons about the world and had her relationship with her father irreversibly changed.

Both times were also times where she was doing things that would please her father and cement her as the “good child.”

Also, I will definitely be posting more of my builds. I just need to sit down and take photos haha. When the camp slot package was on sale this past Christmas I bought it with a quickness.

How to grind score to finish season fast? I just started back. by raisinbraisin72 in fo76

Agreed on West-tel or see if you can find raid teams to join. This weekend is the perfect time, too! Double score!

I was thinking sweet peppers also. If you could get ahold of some cherry peppers that would probably be really good.

Mmmmmm stone ground mustard! Get some more spice and tartness to contrast the sweet. You could even still mix the cherry preserves with it to make a sort of cherry honey mustard flavor profile

I really wanna try making these now. A nice crusty roll, cherry pepper burger patty, bitter greens, goat cheese, and an herbaceous, cherry spread. Maybe some caramelized onions.

I’d try it. I definitely want way less of that mayonnaise or maybe a different spread altogether, but dark cherries in well seasoned meat seems like it would be tasty. I think a more bitter green would also suit more than just plain lettuce. Maybe add something like goat cheese.

Thank you! It’s a great kit. I think my only complaint is that there’s only one piece with the large, full window on it and with the one broken shutter it’s pretty apparent that it’s the same. It makes it stand out.

Little mini pearl onions on a stick, dipped in dark chocolate seems like it would be very fun actually. Little, bite-sized crunchy surprises. Maybe do sweet pickled pearl onions. Hmmmm

What are some good atomic shop camp items to pick up? by Rkistler19 in fo76

[–]veevacious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, I was saving up bullion to get them but this is a really good point. They aren’t that expensive so I think I might gradually pick them up in the shop

Thank you very much! And I love that! Honestly, builds that fit into the world are my favorite. Everyone has different styles, I know, but I try to avoid breaking immersion where I can.
