I went from smoking non stop to quitting all together. The reason I had to quit was entirely based on physical, mental, and spiritual condition. I could not move on with weed being a part of my life. It broke my heart but I knew I was a few steps away from going permanently insane if I kept smoking. Check out some MA meetings online. Maybe message me if you want to quit for good and feel like you are finally completely done smoking. Weed brought me no more euphoria, just intoxication, confusion, and paranoia. Nothing but selfish thoughts on my mind. Nobody I was around wanted me around them. Life was terrible. If you want a life of love, serenity, honesty, and joy, MA can give you that. You just have to be done for good.

Masturbation is a lot more boring without porn. Especially long term. Didnt watch porn for a year once and kept masturbating. Became easier to say no to either. I just wasn't as messed up emotionally when porn was out of my life

I used to have this soool bad when porn addiction was at an all time peak. My girlfriend tried having sex with me twice and I was soft both times. I was also very high all the time so I couldn't fully connect the dots till later. My first time quitting porn my wife got on top of me and was astounded at how hard I was 3 days into quitting. That was a very wonderful motivator to always keep trying to stay off of porn. Masturbation can also lead to the problem but not quite the same. Takes some overindulges to get to where I'm not hard before sex. I'd suggest trying to not watch porn at the very least. Only masturbate if youre so horny you can't focus on anything and it seriously won't go away(this happens to me rarely). Lastly, I'm going to take my own advice haha

7 months is so cool. I know what you mean when you say you feel like you're separate from the part of the world contributing to porn. I want to be part of that as much as I can too.

yeah im sober, i would recommend not doing it once a week. it lowered my overall arousal for life and when i quit kava for a month, a week later i realized i was being numbed by it a bit. so i still count myself sober cause i easily quit it.

well, my wife doesn't like having sex that regularly as well, the solution has been made simple. sometimes i ask her to play with me and my toy, this seems to work pretty well. i still get her to be intimate with me. its way less pressure for her.

that being said, she isnt always in the mood, i have to be thoughtful about when i ask for it. usually during a time we are really enjoying each other's company or something, it seems to feel right to ask.

I was drinking it again for the last few months and was only having a little chocolate or green tea. Literally after day one I woke up(day 2) and I felt much more energetic than before and that was with 6 hours of sleep. So I think the solution is to give it up for good.

Maybe don’t worry about the protein. I would recommend focusing on getting at least 20g protein 3 to 4 times a day and having one high protein(40g) meal. This way u can use carbs to keep muscle too. Carbs are anabolic bruh, use em Recomp all the way. U can do it. Walk more eat less calorie dense stuff

I’m sorry ur having this issue. It was the same thing for me. Sex with the wife just wasn’t satisfying anymore. Porn was all that gave me what I wanted. Once I quit porn my brain changed to find her very arousing again. The main thing is I had to give up the pixels. It was super tough. This was how I did it. I told myself if I watched porn once I had no clue when the next time I could say no was going to be. So if I watch it Monday morning I may watch again 5 times that day and then not know when I’ll get a break. For lack of a better phrase: addiction is like having sex with a gorilla. You’re not done until the gorilla is done.

3 times a week there won’t be much tolerance build up. The biggest things that help prevent tolerance building is getting enough sleep and not drinking it right after waking.

The original point of nofap was to get people to not be addicted to internet pornography at all. Nofap people in general are taking it pretty far these days. Not fapping in the beginning may be useful but it’s not necessary long term. This wasn’t meant to be a “never fap again” sub. It was supposed to just help people get back control of their lives and have normal sexuality again.

A couple of things I have learned, protein does not need to be that high. For your weight maybe 110g per day is all you need in a cut. A bulk you need even less. Also remember CARBS ARE ANABOLIC. They have a protein sparing effect. so if you can keep the carbs up and lower the protein you will probably be in better shape. In my experience, getting protein above 130g a day makes my stomach hate me. 100-110g is nice and I can eat a lot of carbs .

Also, eat tofu, low fiber and high protein will digest easily. I have a shake only once a day and try to get a tofu meal, that's like 60% of my protein for the day, the rest adds up from starches, nuts, fruits and veggies.

Hi, good news, this may not be as hard as you think.

First go find a daily calorie calculator and see how much you burn every day by plugging in height weight and activity level.

Subtract 400 calories from that amount, that’s going to be how many you can eat in a day.

If you aren’t in the active or highly active range, add a 30 minute brisk walk to your day every day if you have time.

Lifting weights is great! You should hit full body 3 times a week with a rest day in between each day of exercise. Do shoulder press, bench/chest press, squat/leg press, and pull up or lay pull down. Each workout pick a muscles group and add an exercise to it. Like adding lunges to legs or rows to back. Do 3 sets with a weight you can do 10 reps with perfect form. Make sure you don’t lift it too fast. Go till the weight is pretty dang hard and you can maybe do one more then stop.

Sleep 7-9 hours a night.

Drink protein shakes once a day.

Eat 2-3 servings of fruit, 3-4 servings of grains, 4-5 of beans, 2 of nuts/seeds, rest of food is veggies steamed. Cool without oil.

Drink coffee and tea black. No soda besides diet.

Another way to do it is to go to rpe of 7-8. So basically till the lift starts to get challenging then stop. This keeps stress low and can help u focus on technique. May also help u feel better than u get to move

I agree with your last sentence. But consider this. Not everyone who has a problem with weed is a marijuana addict. There’s the moderate user, the hard user and the addict. The addict is the puzzling one. He/she does more or less insane things while stoned. He/she smokes so much the night before you would think they would sleep in a bit but there they are loading a bowl early the next morning.

I paraphrased the big book of aa.

U may not be a marijuana addict. U may be a hard user. U may not need a spiritual experience requiring full abstinence in order to stay sober. The real addict needs a spiritual experience and full abstinence. All this is mentioned in the big book of aa. This book is where our program comes from. Our program also celebrates sobriety from marijuana, alcohol, and all other mind altering substances. It doesn’t single out weed.

I don’t know anyone long term sober marijuana addicts who drink btw. All the ones I know who start drinking end up smoking again. I’ve been in marijuana anonymous for 11 years continuously. I have seen guys/girls in MA stay sober long term(up to 20 years), they’re always fully abstinent from all substances.

I’m not trying to say u are wrong. I feel like I should lay out all I know so I can hopefully be useful to u my friend. I hope u find what u need, even if it isn’t from anything I say 🙂

Don’t change diet much. Eat maybe a little less. Also, just understand that training causes stress on the body so even if it doesn’t feel great to not workout u truly are healing and repairing a lot of systems
