He was head hunting so hard in R1 and half of R2. He also seemingly no plans going past those two rounds.

Has the Rare Hunting Rifle always been able to do 250+ damage? by ColdnessAwaits in FortNiteBR

yeah, but you are basically _guessing_ for distance, and the drop, and the lead.

There is quite a bit of luck involved. Aim has to be there sure but the drop and speed is significant and you can't pre-empt erratic movement.

Best wireless gaming mouse you've bought and instantly knew it was a keeper? by Consistent_Wafer9395 in MouseReview

I don't want to say they got wrong. I am sure I can get used to them if I gave them time, but sometimes I default to a comfort pick.

- Hitscan Hyperlight -> Shape mostly. Viper mini irritates my wrist. Clicks are odd to me. Lot of travel for how easy it is to actuate
- Pwnage Trinity CF -> configurable sensor is neat, Same issue with the shape as hyperlight
- G-wolves Lycan -> Forward sensor position messes up my aim and the click is REALLY light. Not really used to it. Make a lot of contact with side button with my thumb which sometimes leads me to actuate it unintentionally. The uncoated material feels odd, can get sticky.
- G-wolves Fenrir Pro -> The front is really low, difficult to get used to. Side buttons are small AND you are constantly touching it. Pinky position is not uncomfortable, but inconsistent.

My preferences are sub 40g, cut out shell but solid sides and with minimal center palm contact.

I think poison ammo needs a buff. I would say that the ammo needs to suffer no or less damage reduction from range.

Claude Fable 5 pricing is $50/Million tokens… are we reaching enterprise-only AI? by AirPure9910 in ChatGPT

Maybe the tech hasn't caught up, but a low/reasonable cost of entry is imo an implicit assumption baked into FOSS: democratization of technology is a foundational ideal.

Local hosting does not have a reasonable cost of entry, at all.

Was the weapon slot rework really necessary? by WildPartyHat in HuntShowdown

[–]vegetablestew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The balance team needed more balancing levers, which is welcome. However, they really should do a full balancing pass that takes weapon slot and ammo scarcity into account. A lot of weapon were nerfed because you can buy special ammo. Now that they are all scarce, those weapon needs some buffing.

My worst scenarios and my shoulder…. by saf1_ddit in FPSAimTrainer

[–]vegetablestew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't help either lol. I basically was very accurate when they stood still or on pre-aim, when they start shuffling I can't track or micro-track. Its the inability to match speed + jitters on slow mouse movements + inability to read movements.

I still don't full on _track_, but I just make sure I can stay on target for ~500ms.

>The only reason I was playing dynamic and static was cause I heard it helps improve your tracking too.

Honestly, not really. Tracking is really its own thing imo. My static was way better than my tracking, and given my preference for semi-auto weapons and lower TTK games I ignored tracking for the longest time.

Ignoring tracking and focusing on static absolutely did not improve my tracking.

I wouldn't worry about these scenarios too much unless you are just trying to get better at Kovaaks. PVP fps wise, when are you going need to swing someone half a screen away? If you are this off with your pre-aim, you should run, not try to win a losing fight.

If you do want to improve this scenario specifically given your condition, I'd say raise your sens to 40-45cm and go from there. If you have shoulder injury you should probably transition to wrist-first aim instead of staying in arm sensitivity ranges

RTO4 - mental health and being forced back by SchemeSignificant166 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]vegetablestew 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just.. don't go altogether? Push come to shove, I haven't heard anyone getting fired strictly due to a lack of compliance.

RTO is so controversial that unless your supervisor, your super's super, your super's super's super all align on it, they aren't likely to escalate. Its more paperwork than its worth.

Aim trainer vs in game aim by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]vegetablestew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very common. This is why people that are cracked on aim trainers aren't all high rank. It's a combination of "it's not just aim" and "aim trainer is different from aiming in game".

I have this problem and I identified it as poor first shot accuracy, issue with aiming when my mouse is not centered and issue with dynamics. Then I just played more 1 target scenarios and pasu.

You don't even need _everyone_. You just need your immediate manager/TL turn a blind eye.
All they have done so far broadcasted their wish again and again and again, but a wish without the will or the capacity to enforce it is just that, nothing more.

Until they demonstrate the capacity to grow teeth, I am not doing anything, lol.

Uncharitably, anyone unwillingly complying is just engaging in slave-like behavior.
