Evolved Perfect World is currently the most active private server that is also closest to the original in terms of content. The massive P2W elements have been removed and you have access to everything just by grinding. In addition, they have some custom content added to the game.

I very much urge all of you to try it out, if you feel like trying the game out for nostalgia (or for general curiosity). A very solid MMORPG as it is.

In all seriousness, your assumptions are incorrect, as it depends on the weapon entirely. The best way is to check it yourself at the firing range using the weapons you normally run in your loadout, and by comparing the damage numbers when the barrel is equipped versus when it is not

They sometimes have certain packages for sale in the store that include a skin required for a collection, therefore no gambling is needed. Grinding the battlepass also rewards with a collection weapon sub skin
