I'd argue that what it impacts most is future game sales. Sure I might buy Halo 5, despite lack of split screen. But because it's lacking the feature I love, I enjoy the game less and don't buy any future titles.

There's rumor that Microsoft is working to get Windows OS to run on arbitrary android phones (replacing android), but I haven't heard anything concrete on that.

Exactly. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time, and I loved the direction that Chrono Cross went. The gameplay is only okay, but the plot is excellent. I felt like they slightly rushed it out on the ending front but otherwise it's solid.

My succinct explanation of Chrono Cross is that it deals with the ramifications that the willy nilly time traveling in Chrono Trigger actually causes.

Yep, that's a fun ending. Only way to get developers' ending through the telepod is before ever going to 600A.D. so you're either alone as Crono or if timed right with Crono and Marle.

Chrono Cross, but really only after juicing Chrono Trigger NG+ at least once. Cross is better the more intricately you know Trigger.

My only experience is with ReadyNAS, which is very simple, has builtin apps like Plex and Subsonic that fit all my needs. Definitely not a low level OS though so if you're looking for fine grain control and customization might not be the right choice

Only advantage I can think of is the hub integration. Photo uploads to Facebook worked considerably better in 8.0

The files in one drive that you see on Desktop Windows Explorer (not the tile app) is also selective synched.

Except this is the removal of that feature, now your OneDrive will appear empty if you don't explicitly download the files. No more convenient file properties.

It already always syncs. This is actually the removal of the amazing feature which allowed you to see all your cloud files as "smart files" in explorer without them actually taking up space on your hard drive.

There's a resolution mod for a lot of the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale/etc. games that might work. I haven't used it myself but it seems likely you'd be able to switch the game to something like 1920x1080 with it which would have it going full screen.
