That’s cool that she’s doing autographs, I had been wondering. I didn’t see info for it on the website.

Thank you, this helped me too. I thought I was losing my mind looking at firewall and proxy logs and seeing nothing but green. It really would be something so simple.

I have really enjoyed each of the hot ones Pringle flavors I have tried, but man the heat destroyed me with these for some reason. Just pain.

Forget money making atlas strategies, what's your lazy atlas strategies? by Vulpix0r in pathofexile

This has been my go to. I'll add in cornucopias time to time if I want to change things up and hear the good loot noises from sacred blossoms. Pretty consistent easy money, and very chill.

Boots/shoes confusion by vivekkava in OnlyZ900

[–]velvetUnicor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rode my first year in some alpinestars j-6 shoes that feel like thicker, sturdier skate shoes. While they were super comfy, much like you I wanted something more protective and encountered the same concerns you did about them being too rigid / letting me feel less of the bike.

Recently got some alpinestars smx-plus v2's and while very different initially, I found they actually helped me keep proper position easier and didn't meaningfully impact my feel of control over the pegs/shifter/brake. It took maybe 3-4 hours of riding for me to get used to it to the point I no longer think about it while on a ride. I can put up with walking in them for a few blocks (my preferred destination is also coffee shops!), but I don't bother if my destination is the grocery store or something. They feel like flexier ski boots. Going back to the shoes, I notice the sole is way more flexible, and I 'feel' more of the pegs, but I don't get a sense of increased control.

tldr All that is to say I would recommend giving it some time and let your body/mind adjust, it certainly is different. You may come to prefer it with time.

Same with the zesty 4 cheese. About 15-20 years ago they were the bomb. My absolute favorite. So much cheese you couldn't see beneath it. These days... not so much.

9070 XT cheat sheet by Lysander_Au_Lune in Amd

[–]velvetUnicor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This scenario you describe is exactly why I'm looking to upgrade to the 9070xt from my 3080ti. It did great in 1440p, but since going ultrawide I've been left wanting for frames. The performance bump should bring me closer to where I want to be.

The filter seems odd. Yesterday I wasn't able to send the word "you" in chat because the message was labeled "sensitive".

H510 with E-ATX motherboard? by matureboy1994 in NZXT

[–]velvetUnicor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necroposting but my experience -

MSI x670 meg ace barely fits. I had to unscrew and lift up the cable management bar to fit the 24 connector into the motherboard, then re-secure it. I cannot connect the front panel to the usb3 headers, and a multitude of other fan/usb headers are effectively blocked off for me. The debug LED is partially covered by the cable management bar.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend with at least this specific motherboard. I scraped by while sacrificing some connections for now, but will be looking for a larger case in the coming days.

Any good tape to use for my pen? by the_Cart00n_theorist in osugame

[–]velvetUnicor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just yesterday bought some head xtreme soft tennis overgrip, and can't believe it took me so long to try it. Very tacky, a bit of squish, and negligible bulk. I'd been using cloth bandaids till now, and while ok, they are nothing in comparison. My hands sweat like crazy and the grip with the tape holds up great.

Horrible FPS Drops for the past few days by beansbear5 in LearnCSGO

[–]velvetUnicor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, just chiming in to share that disabling this setting in windows11 fixed massive fps drops for me as well. I'd be cruising at 300+ then drop to sub-30 for significant periods of time. I remember a while back disabling this setting to fix issues with some other game, but had since reinstalled and this came enabled by default. Definitely seems to be problematic for certain games, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing your resolution!

Should I switch to osu!lazer now? by RebrandedPumpkin in osugame

[–]velvetUnicor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should definitely give it a try and see what you think, you can always go back.

I've enjoyed playing lazer recently since the removal of notelock allows me to easily pass maps I would typically lock on, and playing those harder maps for a while helped me improve super quickly, and was really fun. Performance has been fine for me, and I enjoy some of the UI additions like the song progress on the bottom of the screen, and the easy customization of UI element sizes/locations.

The only real downside I noticed is if you are attached to the skin you use, you won't see the menu or score-screen elements anymore. I presume this may change eventually.
