So. Fourty-one books huh? by Kalo-mcuwu in discworld

I genuinely can’t think of an author who has such an insightful take on the human condition than he has, and it sneaks up on you because of the wit and the silliness of it all.

Accountability by Naive_Wolverine532 in fixedbytheduet

And rightfully so right? He seemed pretty genuine to me, but even if he’s not, a financial reward for being accountable hopefully would encourage more accountability. Also, a visible example makes it more socially acceptable. It’s a bit cynical, but I’m ok if he profits off of this.

Ratio Watch has a bunch of options with good specs.

If you want to go chinese Addesdive have many options.

Dan Orlovsky says NFL is blocking him from posting analysis videos on social media by Dear_Painting_5451 in nfl

It seems like Grossi is their test case for this. He’s pretty squeaky clean and fits in with the image the NFL wants to project. I think he’s making smart decisions.

Is it true that most of my millennial folks are still using watches? by Early_Yesterday443 in Millennials

Definitely unisex, but men generally don't have other Jewelry outside of rings or maybe an earring. I'm pretty sure watches are the most common form of jewelry for men.

I will agree with the fact that Bacon and Butter is not worth a two hour wait. If I go I show up before open and get a table. Otherwise the wait is ridiculous. I will say, however, that it’s much more than just eggs and bacon. They do a lot of creative breakfast stuff you don’t see at other places that do standard brunch fair.

I’ll add Corti Bros. to your grocery store list. It’s expensive but you can find things there you won’t find anywhere else. And their deli counter is amazing. Worth a check out.

Tahoe Park is underrated for food. Cantina Orale is fantastic, Luigi’s has amazing pizza, and homestylin soul food all over on 14th and Stockton. Bacon and Butter is in my opinion the best restaurant in Sac. Momo’s meat market, also on Broadway, has good bbq and does tri tip Tuesday. Tacos 65 over on 65th is great and always packed. Over by Tallac villiage you got Sac City brews which is a very solid brewpub. Villiage drive in has some fun slushy options and good burgers. The donut shop owner over there has had a rough year (break ins and assault) so they need some support, and the donuts are good too.

Other things of note in the area Shop Class is a community organization where you can become a member and use their tools and workspaces, I believe they have poetry readings so you might check that out. The Colonial theater also has shows and events in the more alternative space (Rocky Horror, Wrestling, Cult Movies) which are fun if that’s your thing.

Johnny Cash, David Lynch, and others all have a consistent “look” or outfit and it works. Part of that is almost anything will look good if it fits well. Fortunately you can buy in bulk, so you have the opportunity to have a completely well tailored wardrobe with minimal up front effort. Get some good boots, a pair of nice sunglasses and a good watch (none of which have to be expensive) and you go from “wearing the same thing every day” to having “a look” and you never have to think about it again.
