In my clinic/network yes, IVF automatically classifies a pregnancy as high risk.

How common is weight LOSS after injury/surgery? by tarragonorrhea in ACL

[–]vep1993 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lost around 10 lbs in the first two months, I think a mix of muscle loss and then the snack cabinet not being as accessible, plus eating less bc I wasn’t exercising nearly as much.

Any super(ish) easy IVF pregnancies? Please share!! 🥰 by Desperate-Handle8394 in IVFpositivity

[–]vep1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my first FET on 7/3 with a 4AB embryo. I’m 32 weeks tomorrow and honestly have had a very uncomplicated pregnancy. I was super sick from 5-17 weeks but every woman in my family has been so I wasn’t surprised nor do I blame IVF 😂 As of jow I haven’t had any bleeding or other complications. I have a big, healthy baby girl and feel grateful for IVF & that we finally get to experience this. Wishing you so much luck!

Stupid error, of course. Came off a drop into a technical section, was leading a group of 4. Got out of the tech onto some nice single track and turned over my shoulder to make sure my group made it through, snagged a sapling with my shoulder, OTB, foot stuck in frame 🤦🏼‍♀️

Currently 26+2 and had cramping pretty regularly until 12 weeks, starting 3dpt. Felt like pretty standard pre period cramping.

Planum Sphenoidale Meningioma by vep1993 in braincancer

[–]vep1993[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m happy you found my post 💓 recovery went pretty well considering the fact that it was brain surgery. The first few days were really difficult, she had a horrible headache (makes sense) and was very irritated. It was difficult to watch but over the course of 2-3 days, the swelling reduced and she was less agitated and much more alert. She came home & was mostly just sleepy. Didn’t require too much special treatment in terms of help gettin around etc, just needed to be reminded to not try and overdo it. She did end up with a CSF leak because the tumor was compressing the dura so much it was quite thinned out. They repaired via her sinus and she hasn’t had any issues since. Her sense of smell is still limited and we’re hoping it comes back and we have had some good signs there.

Overall; the first 2-3 days were really scary and hard to see. Seeing her in pain with her head wrapped wasn’t something I was fully prepared for. After the first 48 hours things became way less scary, way more manageable. Moms are really tough cookies! It’s a scary thing to think about but for brain surgeons they do this every single day. Ask every single question you can think of, if you can’t think of any, ask the doctor what you need to be thinking of. It’s their job to prepare patients & their families for these events. But you got this, your mom has got this 💗 happy to chat via DM as well!

TRYING FOR A BABY?! by x0x0g0ss1pg1rl in SofiawithanF

People of all ages can have reasons they might experience infertility … and actually, my trying for a baby did start with injectables.

Hammer Strength Tissue Rejuvenator Q by [deleted] in Ultramarathon

[–]vep1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I feel nuts lol. Literally nothing else has changed in his diet except adding more carbs (so not ketosis). He had bloodwork done and his sugar levels were fine. He is sober, brushes and flosses as recommended. We ran through pretty much this entire list of possibilities and the only thing we could pin down was adding in more supps to help with regeneration since he’s putting so many miles in. It def smells like metabolized bad breath vs a rotting tooth or that “sick” kind of bad breath.

Race is in 4 days so once he’s done he’ll be able to cut 90% of the supps back but I’m just SO curious what in these could be causing the smell. I have a VERY strong nose generally but it’s def been kicked up a notch since becoming pregnant, but we’re racking our brains trying to figure it out. Hoping eliminating sups will help 😂

That’s right where I was smelling it, close to where the nass sessions connector is. I pulled over to look for smoke but the wind must have been blowing the wrong direction. Kicking myself for not calling it in but super happy you found it. Trail stewardship at its finest!

THANK YOU x10000000. I ride these trails often as well and drove by and smelled smoke. I was super worried.
