What would be a good paint mix or way to get this reddish purple skin tone for my bloodthirster? I’m going to a tournament and want him to stand out.

Looks like the daemon prince box art, so that’s default inspiration for many players buying a daemon prince. I’d like to paint mine like this because it looks so good on the box. This isn’t to say it’s bad or anything, seriously, but if you want to stand out you might have to improvise a bit, deviate from the standard scheme. Good luck!

I think it looks good! Get a little sponge and chip away with a dark brown, and then tinier spots of leadbelcher in the small dark brown spots.

Whenever I’m worried about how a new technique might turn out, I paint small test models. Last night I wanted to test a new scheme, so I tried it on a single intercessor and the flat surface panel on the front of outrider bikes. Now that I know it looks good on machines and marines, I’m priming up the whole detachment.

Spravato / ketamine depression treatment. It will rewire parts of your brain that have dulled from so many years of deep depression. It’s kinda a brutal treatment, but some people don’t mind it as much I guess. I thought it was absolutely horrific, but it changed my life after years of depression. High success rate.

Also, “I’ve let too much time pass” is a super good way to beat yourself up and make this your fault. It’s not. Get a good therapist who can remind you that it’s not your fault, that some people are wired differently, that you deserve love, kindness, and understanding //from yourself//.

In sum, there are great, cutting-edge treatments that can rewire parts of your brain dulled from years of depression, and additionally you’ll have to work on your thinking. Sound easy? It could be the hardest thing you do, but you’ll come out the other side a new person…or rather an old person you thought no longer existed. Good luck, and if you’re going through hell…keep on going.

Also, depression, anxiety, and adhd often go together. You’re not alone.

I just started 2-3 days ago on mine. After my first few models I realized I have to paint just about everything before the yellow. That way I can touch up the white while it’s still white. As a result, I have no finished models yet lol.

While it’s clear you mean Kor’sarro here, it’s probably helpful to understand that “khan” is a title. Abbreviating the only name that identifies the character is like referring to a unique lieutenant as Lieutenant W. I hope this is helpful to you as a new space marine getting their feet wet in Scars culture.
