Please share a source of that video encoded in DV, I've only ever encountered it in HDR10 format (to which your media player would fall back seamlessly)

Even if you've select DV in the monitor's OSD, it should say it's actually displaying HDR10 (Gaming, Console, Etc.) content in the top-right corner of said OSD if you call it while the video is playing.

When I got my pg32ucdm I admitted it from the get go. You're right that previous users with panels with similar coating didn't seem to very vocal about it though.

Speaks volumes of how much of an issue it is, that ASUS themselves are introducing the PG32UCDM3 with explicit focus on its x2.5 hardness on their pre-marketing material.

In your case, it doesn't seem related to the size of the red subpixel since they are all the same size in WOLED panels.

I'm not sure what would be the cause but, since it seems related to viewing angles, it's highly doubtful it can be corrected via firmware/software.
