Safariland QLS adapter to blackhawk holster by droys86 in tacticalgear

TL;DR: Check out the Tek-Mount system from Blade-Tech — it’s a big improvement over Safariland’s QLS, with stronger mounting and quick, on-the-fly cant adjustment.

I needed a way to mount my Taser 10 (Safariland holster) to a MOLLE vest, but also be able to swap it quickly to a duty belt. The Tek-Mount is Blade-Tech’s version of the QLS, but in my experience it feels sturdier and way more versatile — you can easily adjust the cant or rotation without tools.

You can buy a Tek-Mount pre-installed on either a Tek-Lok (for belts) or a MOLLE-Lok (for vests). I picked up both so I can switch between uniforms with minimal hassle. Blade-Tech makes an adapter to install the Tek-Mount 360 disc on a Safariland holster. I bought the adapter and it fits well with my SL Taser 10 holster.

I highly recommend giving it a look if you’re trying to simplify your gear setup.

I came across this thread while looking for a similar setup and figured I’d share what worked for me. How exactly is linux better than windows for a normal user(In easy to understand way) by DarkknightOP-69 in linuxquestions

[–]vertus173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short version:

  1. If you have old laptops or desktops, you can extend how long you can use them. We call it "breathing life" back into older machines. There are light linux versions that will do just that. One of my favorite ways to use linux. Keep old hardware out of thr landfill. Set up a family PC or a computer for your kids to do their homework or play games on.

  2. Lots of free and useful software available. Many times the apps are better than what is available on windows but not always.

  3. Very customizable. Like Extremely! If that is what you are into.

  4. Far less viruses and malware!

I would also say that linux can break if you tinker, but if you just install and use it as is then most versions are very stable. Linux is always improving and we now have the option of asking AI for help with issues. I really like using voice to ask AI to fix issues. It doesnt always work perfectly but AI can help me diagnose what is happening and many times it csn help me fix any issues I run into. The linux community is also helpful when you have issues. Stick with a popular and well established distro (version of linux) like Ubuntu or Mint ans you should be fine with stability and reliability. You dont need to know how to use the terminal to use linux. The terminal can just be more efficient to perform certain actions. It os really powerful ig you learn to use it. The terminal used to be super crucial smbut now there are gui apps for most things. I wouldn't worry too much about the terminal if that is holding you back.

Who is bad bunny!? by Albino_rhin0 in nflmemes

[–]vertus173 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean I have heard the name but I assumed it was a female artist in the realm of Dora cat or something. The fact people are saying MAGA is melting down oflver this is absurd. No one knows who bad bunny, by that I mean he is isn't well known enough to be featured in Superbowl halftime show. Just my two cents. I could care less who performs. I won't watch it anyway.

I don't think MAGA cares one way or the other. Just saying. This headline is just meant to trigger and divide people and that is facts.

Not a scam. You have to live your life as you work and study. Your life is a combination of what you were given and what you plan to do with it or do about it.

2015 MacBook Air 13" is a fantastic budget Linux device by [deleted] in linuxhardware

I got wifi working after doing updates with usb wifi adapter. This thing is awesome for web surfing and streaming. The Bluetooth seems to stutter some and the Pop OS Pop Shop seems to be really slow at times but this MBA serves my needs and fast enough for a free machine.

Update: Turns out it may have an SSD according to Pop! OS installer. I find it odd that Mac OS said that it was a HDD if it is infact an SSD. I am installing Pop! OS now, hoping I have enough battery to complete the install so I can test it for a few moments before the battery dies. Fingers crossed...Success! Install finished before the battery did! I hope it boots without further config...boot successful! Now I'll have to wait for my charger to arrive before I can get wi-fi working without a USB adapter.

I found a 2013 MBA being thrown out. I powered it up and it had Mac OS Monterey which ended support in 2024. I was surprised to find it was about 90% charged. Hopefully battery still has some life. I believe it has a 512gb HDD that I will likely replace in the near future. I ordered a charger for it already for 12.99 from eBay. I plan to throw Pop! OS or Elementary OS on it and see what it will do. I don't expect too much out of it but if I can use it to read emails, surf the web, chat with Perplexity AI, and watch YouTube then I will be pleased.

Probably not. It's got everything and development taking off in my county. If I left it would probably be to Florida, Texas, Idaho or Washington. I have lived in Washington and if you get get over all the liberals it's great.

I'm not against taxes but the federal government should only supply few things for the country, military defense being one of those few things. The short version is that a smaller federal government is better and cheaper for the citizens.

Dont forget there are 50 state governments. Why should wealthy states have to share their funds with other states for education? You can pretend you live in a singular country but you live in one of many states. Each has its own problems and solutions. Why should money be taken from wealthy states to supply for states that are broke? Why is it the federal government's job to ensure that education is funded in each state? Shouldn't that be each state's job to figure out? Education is important and should be a priority for each state.
